I love the picture of the 3 girls after SM... since you are all squinting, you all look exactly alike!

The shoes are cute, but I have to ask, do they smell bad after wearing them all day without socks? I have a pair that I LOVE, but they smell SO BAD after wearing them without socks! Just wonderin'!

The Trip Chapter 7 - Day 1 Part 2

After a yummy lunch with Sonny Eclipse we decided to check out our driving skills so made a bee line for the Tomorrowland Speedway. I think that is what it is called here. Its Autotopia in Disneyland. And clearly I am confused. Oh well - we drove some cars!

Here is Belle and I in line. I'm still a little soggy but am drying out by this point!

Somewhere along the line Belle realized she may be tall enough to drive her own car! Okay, I said she could ask the CM when we get to the front of the line and if she is then she can drive herself but I'll go behind her so no one drives into the back of her.

Score! She's tall enough! One very excited little girl climbed into her yellow car and I got into the one behind her. I have no idea where HG and Tink got off to. They drove together but seemed to be no where near us.

Climbed in and off we went.

Sort of.

Belle was having some trouble with the gas peddle. Serious problems. Couldn't keep that car running to save her life. So as we sat at a complete stop along the course I started snapping pics. Nothing else to do and she couldn't hear me yelling instructions to her. She was just going to have to figure it out.

And at some point I spotted Tink and HG driving by over head!

I think we officially had the world's longest ride in those cars. Took for flipping ever for her to drive all the way around. One good thing that happened while I was sitting in my car is that I started looking around checking out the interior of my ride and I found a Disney Driver's Licence! Scooped that bad boy up and presented it to Belle after we got off the ride to celebrate her first solo driving experience.

Please note that it is now painfully clear to me that she will NOT be getting her real driver's licence when she turns 16! I'm just saying!

Next we headed to the People Movers. I don't think its called that anymore but it used to be at some point and they will always be the people movers to us.

That is one of my favourite rides! Perfect on a hot day to sit and relax and they'll usually let you go around again without getting off!

Am I the only one who thinks that the CM who watches the security camera in the dark parts is getting quite the show?

Stopped for a quick photo with Pleako

and then headed over to Toontown to meet Mickey and Minnie!

First stop was Minnie's house for tea!

After meeting the mice we were hot so decided to head over to Epcot on the monorail to cool down for a bit. And HG is a bit anal about being late for things and he was afraid we'd be late for dinner. Um, its only 3pm and dinner isn't until 6! But okay, I'm not going to fight in the Magic Kingdom!

I did manage to stall them for a moment to take a pic infront of the castle!

And then we got the Photopass guy to take the world's worst Photopass Pic ever!

See, I told you it was bad!!! I wasn't lying!!!!

Great installment. I was hoping I would get to read at least one more from you before our trip and you posted . I loved all the pictures, especially the last photopass one .

At least you know Belle won't be a speed demon when it comes to driving when she gets older . You have such a beautiful family. Thank you for letting us see as well as read about your wonderful trip .

The CMs often times get a show on certain attractions. Haunted Mansion is a good one...The TTA (PeopleMover to those of us on the West Coast) is another. I have a good Pirates of the Caribbean story that involves the cameras and a couple sent out on a boat by themselves......that's all I'm going to say.

I worked for the Mouse off and on most of the 80's.....

It was the sun. And they weren't wanting to co-operate with him. It makes me laugh now!

Ah, the inside scoop on the cameras! So I was right! There is good stuff going on in the dark rides!

I wear the MaryJanes. Love them because they aren't as wide as the regular ones.

That's why I think of all of the Crocs, if I were to like them it would be the Mary Jane's. Now I have to find a place to see them in person and try them on in my area.

Aww..that stinks you forget...I think on my next trip...I will put a mini notebook in my pocket and if I meet an disers, will pull it out and write their name down...so I can remember it when I get home. I have a terrible memory, too and would never remember up on my return to home
