I'm getting tired of the word butt-crack. Only because Ami is currently obsessed with it and has named every last one of her dolls butt-crack, oh and her pet rock.

As long as she doesn't call them "the butt-crack."

My boyfriend's cousin absolutely hates the word panties! He freaks out anytime anyone says it. Oh and btw...he is 20!

It's not THAT funny! Especially walking through Trader Joe's and she's yelling "Uh-Oh Mommy, Butt-crack has a boo-boo, kiss Butt-crack all better!" This is the same child that changed her name to Miss Puppy McLoven the other week.

ETA: When Ami changed her name I got in trouble frequently for calling her by her real name. She told me it hurt her feelings when I called her Amelie and she was Miss Puppy McLoven and that's all!

Yeah, I have issues. A lot of them! Belle is the only one that hasn't tried to change her name, she's too much of a princess to ever try to change it. Lou tried to change his to Bucket Killing Lizard at one point and would only respond to that name for a good week or two. It's amazing I'm not in a padded room right now.

And speaking of changing names, my brother went through a phase when he was about 6 where the only name he acknowledged for himself was Abercrombie.

My youngest (3) not only renames herself, she renames everyone around her. For over a month, she referred to me only as "Christine". Her older sister was called "Nikki" and her brother, "Michael". (Please note, none of these names is remotely close to our real names or the names of anyone we know).

She calls herself Jessica, Ally, or Kelly Clarkson, depending on her mood. (but her real name is Paige).

It's both amusing and mortifying when she meets a new person (an adult) and hears their name and says "ahhh....no. You're a __________"
