The Woman Report- Update 4/24 Final Thoughts p. 74

those pics were great. post all the pics you got.

the butter ones made me sick till i read Lin's response that she did not eat it.

I'm finding it hard keeping up with trippies. If I'm not on the boards every day, I seem to fall behind fast

Me too!! ;)

And he calls you the gorilla in the family??
I know! :headache: Sheesh!!

I'm assuming this CM is not a Photopass photographer since the shadows are so bad. If he/she was, then they need to do a bit more training.
It wasn't a PP photographer, just a regular CM.

So, this is the one who talked to your "can", huh? It doesn't look like you were being rude to it, as Buzz implied.
No, I was being nice! :)

So I replied and posted exceedingly witty remarks beneath each picture, Linnie. Then my computer decided to deny my post
Don't ya hate that!

Lisa said:
So, what's that gorilla ... oops, I mean Buzz ... DOING to that poor defenseless tube thingy? LG is so sweet!

I'm not sure!:sad2:

Thank you-I think LG is sweet too! :goodvibes

Lisa said:
I'm still about the "can incident" - I hope we run into a talking can or two when we're in WDW this October. I would laugh soooo hard!
I didn't realize that they interact with people-I thought they just 'babbled.' :lmao: We see one a lot in Tomorrowland in WDW but I've never had one come up to me like that.

Thanks for posting the pics, Linnie, they're great! I can't wait for your next installment -

You're welcome! Lifeguard story coming up!

Yeah! Pictures!
Buzz= weirdo

Holding hands... so cute! :cutie:

It looks like you were good buddies with the trashcan.
Buzz lies. j/k Buzz...

Buzz does lie!! :sad2:

great pics.

the one of Buzz = :sad2:

I really feel the need to got here, it has changed so much since I was there last.

Thank you!

Buzz = :sad2: and :headache:

Did I post already? I'm all fuzzy headed from being sick yet again ...

On no! I didn't know you were sick again! LA is sick too and missed 2 days of school.

I have seen a lot of pictures taken in this location,

Spring_Break_08_061.jpg

but I have never seen anything quite like this one

:rotfl:

Is the Life Guard story next?

Yup! :thumbsup2

Lovin' all the pics. Not sure what Buzz was up to there

You guys are beautiful.

Aw, thanks! :flower3:

That's Push, the trashcan that talked to your can! He means no harm, and pretty hilarious if you stop to watch him for a while. He always wants a kid to have their parents buy a churro and "feed" it to him. I thought he was long gone since I hadn't seen him for months..

Is there no Push cousin in WDW?

I didn't get why he was called Push until I went back and looked at the picture! Duh! It says Push on the -uh oh- what do ya call that -opening? No, door, no, help! What's that called? My brain is fried! :headache:

Great pics! Linnie yur TR is comming along very nicely
Buzz, you're a sick man and in need of some serious help

Thank you and I totally agree with your diagnosis of Buzz.

It looks like Buzz is sitting on a plunger in a u-bend!

Have no idea what that means, but it's funny!! :rotfl2:

Lin, those are some GREAT pics. I'll bet there are very few "intersting" moments while ya'll are on vacation.

Like the one of you and your new friend.

Thanks! Our vacations are so full of interesting moments.... I can't count them all or keep track of them all...They mostly involve Buzz as I'm sure you can imagine! :sad2:

Yes , his name is Push also. they are fun to talk to. I`m surprised they didnt stay around to chat with him. Buzz wouldve met his match!

Animal Kingdom has one also, at Rafikis planet watch.he says he is Push`s cousin and told me the next time I see push in tommorowland that he owes him 5 dollars! I have a cute picture of Annie all dressed up after BBB talking to push in Tommorowland.

That's cute! :goodvibes

[/B]
You look like you need an ambulance!

:lmao:

Thank you! :cloud9: I like 'em!

Ewwwwwww.

Why???

I'm innocent!! I didn't do it-it was a joke!!

Red Lin!

Cuz your so dang "HOT"!!

:sad2: How can I get Buzz banned from my TR? Anyone??

Red Wine?

Sure, I'd love some!! :yay:

High Blood Pressure because your on vacation with Buzz

Ding ding ding!! That's it! :thumbsup2

Probably from the wine?

or the lighting.......DH looks very red in a lot of our restaurant pics too.

That could be-I didn't get sunburned so it wasn't that. I know if I exert myself physically at all, my cheeks get immediately red. Even it's pulling our garbage can out to the curb, I get red. :confused3

:rotfl2:

This must be the real reason!

:rotfl2:
Yup!
those pics were great. post all the pics you got.

the butter ones made me sick till i read Lin's response that she did not eat it.

I'm not a butter eater!! :guilty: Well, I am if it's on bread or something, but not plain!!

We went back to the room and got ready for swimming. We made our way to the pool and looked around for a place to camp out for a few hours. It was very crowded and all the front row seats were taken. Buzz sits down at an empty chair, but the one next to him has a towel on it. I don’t know what to do. Where do I sit? :confused3 Buzz says to move the towel. I can’t. I also can’t scoot another chair over on the other side of him because I think the life guards would get mad. I could just tell. One kept giving me the evil eye.

The kids head off to play and LeeAndra starts going down the slide a bunch. I’m kind of walking around and thinking about getting in the hot tub. I decide to just take an obviously empty chair in the 2nd row and not sit by Buzz. LA has gone down the slide about 5 times. She goes back up the stairs to go down it again. She's so happy! :goodvibes No one else was on it so there wasn't even a line. She gets to the top and all of a sudden, she turns around and comes back down to us. She starts to put her life jacket on and I could tell she’s trying not to cry.

“What’s wrong?” I ask.

“I’m just getting this on.” (still trying not to cry):sad1:

“How come you aren’t going down the slide?”

“Because I needed a break.” (still trying not to cry):sad1:

“Who told you that!?” Now I’m mad. There's no way she decided that for herself- someone must've told her.

“That guy up there.” She puts her life jacket on and gets in the water.

Now I’m not one of those parents that gets mad when someone instructs or corrects my child. (My brother is) I’m a strict rule follower myself and I firmly believe that if my kids need to be corrected and I don’t see it, then by all means, correct them. But within reason. This, to me, was not reasonable. She wasn’t hurting anything by going down the slide-there wasn’t even any other kids going down it. :confused3 She was the only one on it. They might not have realized it, but we were watching her too!

I look at Buzz and said, “That’s absolutely ridiculous! She’s only been down it about 5 times. No one else is even on the stupid slide-she’s not holding up a line or hurting anything! Did you see her trying not to cry? He made her almost cry!”

I continue raving on like this, knowing the outcome. Buzz stands up, puts his shirt on and heads up the slide stairs. Yup. Exactly what I wanted. :thumbsup2 He's so predictable.

Here’s the encounter as told to me by Buzz:
He approaches the life guard at the top of the stairs.
“Did you tell my daughter she couldn’t go down the slide???” Getting right up in the guy’s face.

“Uh, well, uh, ah er. Yeah.”
“Why!” Not a question, really more of a statement.

“One of the life guards called up and told me she needed a break.”

“Which one!” Again, not a question.

“That one.” Buzz spins around and goes to see the Baywatch –wanna be lifeguard chick. :rolleyes1

“Why did you tell my daughter she couldn’t go down the slide!”

Now she stammers and hems and haws. She gives Buzz the excuse that it looked like LeeAndra’s head was too close to going under the water and she thought it was because she was tired and after all, she didn’t want her to drown. (as if we did!) :sad2:

Buzz turns around and walks away. The life guard calls after him, “She can go down now!” Buzz just shakes his head.

So he calls LA over and tells her she can go down the slide, but now she’s too scared to go down so Buzz goes with her. All is well again. Builds up her confidence. We swim for an hour or two, then head back up to get ready for dinner. Buzz calls Domino’s for the kids and I try to straighten up the room. Buzz squeezes in some sleep time and I give Trey a bath, then start getting myself ready for our first night out!!

Exactly what I would have done - I can always count on Bill to take charge of those kinds of situations unless I'm super mad then watch out!!!

This is the worst winter that I can remember. Apparently we're close to beating a record of snowfall from 70/71 :headache:

I've had enough. It's making me very irritable and cranky.

The good news is that the temperature is warming up - finally!

Me thinks the GC needs to hire some new life guards:mad:

How dare you MAKE your child go down that slide so many times that she was having fun and not bothering anyone:rolleyes1

Buzz turns around and walks away. The life guard calls after him, “She can go down now!” Buzz just shakes his head.

Probably thought you were going to complain to her boss.....which I would have!

So he calls LA over and tells her she can go down the slide, but now she’s too scared to go down so Buzz goes with her. All is well again. Builds up her confidence. We swim for an hour or two, then head back up to get ready for dinner.

WTG LA....don't let the meainie lifeguards ruin your fun:goodvibes

Dude those life guards...not cool...not cool at all. They are supposed to be creating magic...not taking away from it. Poor LA...trying not to cry. I hope she got a big hug out of that. Here is one for her

I think Buzz handled the lifeguard situation pretty well.

Of course, I would have gone one step further (perhaps over the line) and complained to a manager. Those kids need to learn a lesson and that will only happen if it comes from their boss!
