My beloved laptop, Bruce, passed away yesterday. His motherboard fried! I'm totally bummed because now I either have to DIS on Mike's work laptop whenever he isn't using it or I can use our prehistoric desktop in the office which is SLOW! Ugh, today I booted it up and it took 20+ minutes to even open Internet Explorer.

Bruce was originally my Mom's computer and he was only 1 & 1/2 years old, but my Mom did not buy the service plan from Best Buy so I guess I'm screwed!

Here is what I'm hoping to get for Mother's Day!

Sorry about the computer. I was using Eric's old laptop until January when it died. I have a brand new Dell (in spring green) now though.

I need to go out and get all that sanitizing stuff!

Wow can she teach my almost 5 year old. Jenny is into the whole socialization part of school and not the academic. Mommy has some writing in store for her this summer.

I think we need shirts that say Dis Antibacterial Queens!

I am wondering if I should pack some extra stuff in case my garden grocer items don't come through...would they run out of lysol and clorox wipes. Ugh...Austin is talking to the operator! Got to go!!!

Hi! I just started reading your pre-trip (thank goodness for the chapter links, LOL!), but I just wanted to pop in and mention that we will overlap some on our trips! My husband and I are taking our first-ever kid-free trip and we are staying at the Poly for the 1st time. We aren't there as long as you, just the 13th - 17th, but I will keep my eyes open for you! My oldest daughter is "Emily" too!

The ped called this morning to talk about Austins surgery. We got onto the notpork flu as my dad is calling it and he told me to take some bleach with us. Since we won't have a dishwasher...he said to sanitize Austins chew toys, bottles and Jennys sippy cup (she is such a klutz)each night. He also couldn't stress enough wiping down the stroller as much as possible. He said you never know who may have touched it while you were in line. So I am off to get a small bottle of bleach. 1 T per gallon of water.

Ooh! Good tip on the bleach. Maybe I'll add it to my GG order, I don't really want to travel with a bottle of bleach in my suitcase!
