OK, it's Golf4food's fault...I went over to WDW website and started playing around with dates in December and ended up booking Decemebr 12-18, 2008. I wasn't planning on a December trip this year.

Jeanne do you want to come play?

Beckie

Sorry, Beckie,

We realized Christmas is just too busy of a time for us. Would love to but can't this time.

I have posted before that I have stayed in at lest 7 of the 15 Bear Faced Rooms and none of them had the Bunk Beds, but that doesn't mean none of them do. In all the years I have been posting and reading this thread no one has ever posted that they received a Bunk Bed while staying in one of these rooms. But that doesn't mean that there aren't, :confused3 I will try and find out if in fact there are any Bunk Beds located there, but like the King Size Bed room there may only be one or two at the most.

Beckie

OK, sorry this took so long, but I got some good news about the Bear Face Bunk Bed Room.

There are three bunk bed rooms in the Bear Face!!!! Two on the fourth floor and one on the fifth floor.

Good luck to anyone who are going to request them. They DO EXIST!!!

Thank you so much for this info!!! DH, DS10, DS4, and I can't wait until 12/28/09!!!!! WL Bear Face BB room, here we come!!!

I have a question for the WL experts. Do you have to wait until you actually get there and check in to reserve a boat for a certain time/day from the marina or can you schedule one ahead of time and if so how far out can you do it? :confused3 Thanks in advance:thumbsup2 Mark

Is the IPO going to make the first contact or do I do that? This is the first time we are staying conceirge and I don't know what to expect.

Suzanne

I don't know if this question has been answered yet since I'm still only on Pg. 48 but I wanted to tell you that you should contact the IPO office 7 months out from your trip if they haven't gotten in touch with you. We stayed BWI Concierge on our last trip and they hadn't contacted me by 6.5 months. When I called, I was told they don't "get the reservation" until 3 months out. It would have been way too late for my ADRs by then.

I would encourage you to contact them now. Have fun!

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered somewhere else in this posting. It's just so big!

What times do the boats to MK start in the morning?

TIA:goodvibes

If you look on Page 1, it will give you all the info you need on WL.:goodvibes

The boats start times are listed there. I'm sure that the times will vary due to park hours.
I know that MK boats run 1/2 hour before MK opens and 1 1/2 hours after MK closes.
Hope this helps and be sure to check out page 1! Great Info!

Yes, it was answered for me, I contacted them and they responded quickly, then we decided not to stay conceirge after all, but we are still staying at WL

Most guest just go to the marina when they are ready to rent the boats, the Specialty Cruises must be booked in advance by calling WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529) for reservations. There is information on page 1 for the prices on the rentals.

I know that MK boats run 1/2 hour before MK opens and 1 1/2 hours after MK closes

Out of curiosity do they adjust the times for Extra Magic Hours for the boats?

So if MK's official closing time is 11pm and EMH means the park closes at 2am will the boats still be running at 3.30am ?

And how about the morning Extra Magic Hours ?

Yes ::yes:: they adjust the times for park opening and closing no matter what time it is. Rather it's the MNSSHP, MVMCP, Pirates & Princess Party, Evening EMH or Morning EMH.

From page 1

Red Flag Resort Boats hours of operation are from 1/2 hour before park opens until 1 1/2 hours after park closing.

Just getting back in the swing of things. Somehow got dropped forgetting these posts. Love the Lodge....

2 weeks from today I will be at the Lodge! :cool1:

Does anyone know if the gift shop sells distilled water with their limited grocery items? DH is being fitted for a CPAP machine tomorrow and I was told depending on the style he may need distilled water for it. Since we are shipping down a box of snacks and mics items I really did not need to order from Garden Grocer.

Hi everyone, I will be staying at the WL in Sept during fee dining and have a question about transportation. I have a 9:05am res. at Crystal Palace and I am wondering what would be the quickest way to get to the MK, boat or bus? I have seen in past posts that the line for the boat in the moring is very long. The park doesnt open until 9am that day and as everyone knows you are supposed to arrive 15-20min early. Help!:confused3

Amy

Just spoke with a Cast Member at the Mercantile they only carry purified water and drinking water. :confused3 Sorry, she suggested Garden Grocer's. Since you're shipping a package down can you just add the water to the box?

The quickest way would be to take the direct bus to the MK. There will be a turnstile open to let those with early ADR's into the park.

You could probably take the first boat to the MK and still have time, but I'd prefer to take the bus and have some extra time to roam the MK before the park opens.

Ethansmommy

Other then waiting for the Red Flag Boat and arriving right at opening, I would catch the bus, the buses start operating much earlier then the Red Flag Boats.

I would be down at BUS STOP # 1 at 8:00am (maybe a little earlier) to make sure you arrive with time to pass through security, the ticket turnstile's and be at the Crystal Palace a few minutes before your scheduled ADR.

The closer you arrive to opening time the more crowded security and the turnstile's will be. There will be an area toward the right that will allow you and your family to enter the Magic Kingdom before the public does. You can always ask a Cast Member if you don't see the early ADR line.

While there are other options the bus would be the quickest way to get to the Magic Kingdom.

Hi, Clutterbug/Amy I didn't see you had answered before I posted. I type slow.
