Last time we went in 2008, they didn't have the on line check in option.

Can someone tell me where that desk is located and is it staffed all the time?

Thanks.

The check in is right next to the regular check in. While we didn't use it, I saw the area.

The same counter? Is there a separate queue line? I am an over planner and hate not knowing what to look for.

It's not hard to find, on the right hand side of the checkin desk with a sign and seperate line (no one was in it and all times going through the lobby for the week- not many people at all at the checkin desk) We did regular checkin at around 2 in the afternoon and no one was in line.

That isn't a Dumb question...some guest don't feel the need for fresh towels everyday, sometimes there are only two guest in the room and have access to four sets of towels. Another option is to request additional towels before you need them or you may always call and request them at anytime.

Last option: Some people don't take a bath everyday....:rotfl2:

Thank You-I think we are gonna do this our next trip-I wasn't too happy with housekeeping last year & I tipped everyday...long story...but we got a really old, musty, moldy, hairy, cut nailse everywhere room & when I complained not much was cleaned up. :confused3

I feel your pain. We had the nasty room last time too. The fast moving ants were not the worst part. Those I understand. The hair covered wet soap that fell on the carpet, with dark hair, we are all blonde, was not given for understanding. Eww!

Thankfully the housekeeper the next day let me stand there and watch her vacuum that part of the bathroom.

I'm bringing my own lightweight vacuum this time. So I don't have to wait. We are driving, so it's not a big deal for us. Not real keen on cleaning during my vacation, but I love the location and theme so much, I can handle it.

I will add, we only stay at the WL when we go. DH won't try anything new, the location is great and our honeymoon there was perfect. We are debating on upgrading to CL again.

Too bad you won't be there when we get there-Would love to borrow that vacuum cleaner!!! But, I am bringing my own lysol wipes & scrubbing bubbles.:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 And the hard surface sanitizer.

If there are DISers there when we are, I'm cool with letting you borrow the vacuum. It is a non-bag vacuum. Just empty the clear fill container after use. It has a section that detaches for hand vacuuming too.

That's really nice of you but I really don't want to vacuum too because I think I would loose it if I saw what was in the canister-slippers & shoes only-no bare feet!

marymac, OT - what is the outfit in your avatar? Do you go to the Renfest at Sterling Forest?

Update MAGINinMYHEART; I actually got to talk to the IPO last evening. I was told that the only way to get a balcony that wasn't solid was to book a jr suite and that would be on a different floor. :(

Not the answer I was hoping for but it seemed they wouldn't budge? I don't get it, I may end up somewhere else sadly enough as we really wanted to stay concierge.

I call for towels the first time and gave them a couple bucks. When they cleaned & did the shower I gave $5. Then one day we were leaving the room and the mousekeeping was a few rooms down. She asked if we needed anything as we have a sign on our door. (and she looked at me kind of funny) I said I'll take a few towels and that was it. I didn't give a tip then. I don't know maybe its me but I feel like I need to clean the room in order for them to come clean it?? :confused3 I have a couple pics how do I upload them on here?

I'm sorry to hear that, I know of several guest that have been moved to another floor. (this was when they had arrived and were at the Lodge) Remember the IPO is located over at the Polly :confused3 and you didn't actually speak with a Cast Member at the Lodge.

Do what you feel is right for your stay and comfort.

Good Luck & Have a Great Trip

MAGICinMYHEART..
