8/19 & 20 - Animal Kingdom Lodge
8/21 & 22 - Wilderness Lodge
8/23 - 27 - Boardwalk Inn

Our family of 4 will be going august 18th thru the 25th then its on to sailing on the Wonder for 3 days. We are in the AKL.

I am going to have to get one of the mickey heads from HD. Although my son will probably give me a hard time about wearing it even if its on my fanny pack. He always says I look like a tourist but he wasnt complaining when I had the water / asprin / ponchos when we needed them.

It looks like alot of you will be there the same time as us... When the time gets closer maybe we could plan an informal meet, what does everyone think?

Can anyone tell me how the crowds and weather are for the last week of August - first week of September? We are looking at 8/29 to 9/6. Mostly wondering how crowds will be. I'm sure it's hot and humid.

HI...we are leaving Aug 9 - 17...4 nights at POP and 4 nights at POLY..woo hoo...we can't wait.....POLY is a surprise to DD10 and DS 11

looks like our plans are similar to the OPs... we're going 8/25-27 to RPR @ Universal... then CR from 8/27-9/1 with our last two days at AKL (9/1-3)... and cannot wait to hit that 90 day mark... it'll be here realllllll soon!!

someone asked about the weather and crowds... you can expect it to be hot and humid... you can also expect some showers mid-day... last year there was a hurricane over labor day weekend... crowds are rather low... very short wait times and minimal need for fastpass... ps' are easy to come by even day of ('cept maybe crt and psb)... overall, it's a great time of year to visit!
