After the parade, we headed around to County Bounty because it was time to add up our luck with the Photopass. As I told you earlier, we had read about the $99 CD. For those of you going in the near future, here’s a little advice from me. Remember – you get what you pay for. Disney charges $13 for a 5X7. That’s rather hefty. Going at that price, and I know there are packages, but going with that price, I could order7.615 pictures at that price for what a CD costs. So for $99, yes that’s expensive too, but when you hear how many pictures we had, you’ll understand.

About the quote above...you mentioned if anyone was going in the near future to take advantage this $99 cd. Do you have any idea how long this special is? I want to make sure I am personally responsible for some CMs sore shutter finger!! I don't normally enjoy having my picture taken and I plan on taking lots of shots myself but I am going with just my two kids and want to make sure there was proof that I was actually there too!

Hey Brenda - thanks for the comments. As best I know this is a permanent deal. I wouldn't swear to it totally, but I'm pretty certain it is. But things change pretty often down there - so who knows. I mean, you go one week and they have the cartoons on channel 96 that Wesley loves watching while we're getting ready in the morning. You go back 2 weeks later and they've taken that off the air!?! Who knows what is going on down there? Not me. I just go and pay whatever they tell me in order to experience it!

Sweet! A DIS cast member liked my report! I swear it's like meeting someone famous. I met some famous folks when I was at FSU. Met OJ Simpson - premurder. Also met Dave Thomas from Wendy's, Spike Lee, and President Carter - twice, Lee Corso from ESPN, ummm...grabbed Jane Pauly's butt in high school too - it was totally by accident - I was in New York City coming out of a theatre and someone said, "Hey, there's Jane Pauly!" I turned to see who they were pointing at. She was right behind me with her back to me. As I turned, there it was - right against my hand. Ooops. (I didn't wash it for a week). Just kidding. Maybe. Anyway, thanks Linda!

By the way - there are many tons more preachers much more talented than me. You might try visiting some of those local churches. You never know - you just might find one!

And yeah we knew it was a fastpass ride, - I mean, we've seent he machines there. But the past few times we've been there the fastpass stuff hasn't been available - the machines were covered up. Like the ones at the Haunted Mansion. I know they are there, but I have never been there when it was actually working as a fastpass ride.

Thanks for your reply about the cd. I am certainly going to check it out when we get there. I guess I will have to see if we get enough pictures taken to make it worth it. I'm certainly not going to get 300+ but even if I got 100 it would be worth it!!

Alright, here's the scoop...(Covering my nametag so no one sees my real name)

Our Wendy was taken off the set that morning and told that she could no longer be Wendy. She was told that she no longer looked enough like her. As we understand it she had been permanently cast as the Wendy character. Apparently, as mentioned by someone, they can be cast in different roles, which we knew. We had seen her as Alice and Wendy. But this was a position where she would no longer appear as anyone else but Wendy.

So they pulled her that morning.

When we found that out we were very sad. She was pretty upset as you might imagine. But as it turns out she wouldn't have been there much longer anyway. She will be going on tour playing Alice in one of the touring shows that is liscensed by Disney. She is very happy with the new opportunity.

One really neat thing that happened when we went with our friends a couple weeks ago - Keith and I were sitting in the sqaure waiting for the Share a Dream Come True Parade. Rhonda, Wesley and the others were in the Emporium. I was just sitting there watching folks and talking with Keith. We were sitting right behind where Terk was having pictures made. In fact, Wesley had his picture made with Terk before he went in the store. He's always liked Terk, says she is soft and cuddly. Anyway, Terk went in for some bananas, and after a few minutes, Terk reappeared from the special Terk disappearing, reappearing place. I saw the gate open and saw Terk come out. It looked as if she was looking right at me and Keith. I didn't think anything of it cause we were right near the spot where she would be standing. Terk waved in our general direction and I waved back. Then I turned and was talking to Keith. The next thing I knew Terk was right in front of me, bent down and gave me this big hug. My first thought was, wow, this one is friendly. Then Terk made a motion as if asking where my little one was. I thought perhaps Wesley had sad something cute or something and she wanted to give him another hug. So I asked if she was asking about my little boy. Terk nodded yes. I explained he was in the store and that I would go get him. I found Rhonda and Wesley looking at Pins and told them that Terk was asking for him.

We got outside and she was already seeing some other guests, but turned around to look and saw Wesley. When she finished with one group, she ran over to Wesley and gave him a big hug. I'm thinking, "Wow, he must have done something really cute that I missed." Then all of a sudden, she started jumping up and down pointing at her chest. I think it hit Rhonda a bit before it hit me, cause Rhonda said, "Do we know you?" with a big grin on her face. Terk continued to jump and started nodding yes. I then figured out who it was. It was OUR Wendy - in disguise!

It was really neat. We 'communicated' a bit via hand signals etc. But it was a neat little mini-reunion.

So that's the story, or at least as much as I can tell. She is no longer appearing as Wendy, but is now playing other non-face characters until she leaves to go on the tour.

I hope I haven't given away too many details that would get her in trouble. But that's the story.

I figured it was something like that. They are pretty strict about making sure that you look like the character you are supposed to be portrayng. They will pull you off set for wrong makeup, wig askew, etc. But I am glad that they gave her a new opportunity that she was happy with. It is sad because it seems like she made your vacation and probably many other people's very magical because she was so good and in character.

I wish her the best!!
