Hey! FYI... it's not only with asparagus. Pretty much everything that goes in tastin' fine... comes out not so pleasant. But... how can you not like asparagus? It's "tree food". According to Calvin. Who also calls brussel sprouts "little green balls of salad". By the way... I'm really, REALLY enjoying your reports. Very much. Next time you go into Victoria's Secret... grab something pretty off the rack and ask the saleswoman if you can use the fitting room. Hee, hee. And... I'll go to church tomorrow. I promise. I think. Still loving the reports! I too, always liked the chant for the red-head on Pirates and my son always comments on the stinky foot. Are you talking about the one hanging off the bridge? He holds his nose and waves his hand in front of his nose as we go under it.

Just subscribed - great trip report! It's really getting me psyched for our trip (leaving Thursday - yea!!!)

I'm proud to say that we are dedicated members of Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson, Texas. I just finished a 3 year tour of duty on SPRC!

Hey - it's not Annual Conference, that won't come until June. This is a Winter Camp Meeting - conference wide. Been going on for like 50 something years.

Hey Kaye - I used to live in Bainbridge when I was way little. Moved to Thomasville in the 5th grade though. And yes we are in Macon now. If your brother is looking for a church, I can tell him a good one!

Macon is a lovely town! When we lived there we went to a UMC...don't remember the address but Creede Hinshaw was the pastor who married us!

Hi, FSUMARCHIEF's wife here... Mark is out of town for now... but Creede actually was the pastor where we are NOW about 25 years ago... now he is the pastor at Mulberry Street UMC, and has been for about 12 years. That is a large church downtown, I'm guessing that's the one it was! Pretty neat, small world, huh?

Mark is feeling better and wishing he was here to finish writing his trip report. He *says* he's not writing any more reports after he finishes up with this trip, but we'll see. Cause the one coming up is going to be tons of fun, I just know it!!
