that awkward moment when you have a sub and they've lived in America for two years and are originally from the UK and spell every word incorrectly.
our sub in science (she'll be in there tomorrow too :/) was writing down the instructions for our lesson... SHE SPELLED EVERY SINGLE WORD WRONG, at least it felt like it. This was the lab instructions: "Get with your group colour and the correct colour table. Identify the meanings of the vocabulary words and memorise them. Use an encyclopaedia if needed. Do the activity on the sheet and analyse the questions with your colour group. Be sure to measure in metres. When all colour groups are done we will watch a programme on the smart board."
the whole class was like "...uhm... what?" and then the sub went to the bathroom so me and my friend went up to the board and fixed her misspellings. We changed the 'misspelled' words to the correct way. Then the teacher came back and was all like "oh i'm so sorry, i'm not good with american spellings"
