Did you hear that Osama is dead?
so i dont get why everyone is so happy that osama is dead. okay... go america wooho we win. but i wanna see how happy all y'all are when his friends who are still alive come bombing us. because i can only assume how mad they are...
Well, Osoma Ben Laten is dead. But I would hope that y'all all know that.
Hello my dear friends.

Here at least there was a ton of news coverage.Something that makes me pretty angry is how NOBODY seems to care, not even the news, about the tornado that hit the South East of America! I mean, it was the 2nd largest and distructive tornado in the HISTORY of America. It was over a mile long. A MILE. A tornado a MILE long. That's insane. And it hurt a lot of states. Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. PLEASE pray for those states (and this is dear and close to my heart, since my state was involved with this.) it was a bad storm. I don't know how many people were hurt/killed, but I know it caused A LOT of damage. Destroyed homes. Destroyed schools. Destroyed everything. )':

y'all are really late... and i think somebody brought it up earlier today too, haha.

d of e is an award by prince philip (the queen's husband) and it's bronze, silver & gold. bronze is 14+, silver is 15+ and gold is 16+ and you can do them until you're 21. for bronze (which i'm doing) you go camping overnight, once as a practice and once as a real thing and you have to walk something like 15 miles over 2 days (sat & sun), camping on saturday night (so you have to put up the tent and cook your own food on a camping stove etc) and you have to do 3 months of a physical (i'm going to the gym for 1 hour a week), 3 months of volunteering (i already help at brownies) and 3 months of a skill (me and my friend are doing clay LOLOLOL)
so yeah, our practice camp is next weekend and our proper one is in june.
a bank holiday is a day when the banks are closed, so everyone gets a day off. technically. i think y'all call it a public holiday.
oh woooow. WAIT. prince phillip is the queen's husband? then why isn't he called "king phillip"... how is a queen married to a prince? that makes no sense... but that d of e thing sounds really cool.
now that makes more sense. but ugggh, we don't call them holidays of any sort, we just call them days off or teacher workdays or holidays if they actually are a real holiday (i.e. presidents day, martin luther king jr day, etc.)
Here at least there was a ton of news coverage.
that was on the news here
That was me.I brought it up when the news first broke last night, but no one was on.
I ASKED THE SAME QUESTION EARLIER. it turns out that if there was a king, then he would have more power than his wife, so if philip was king philip, he would actually rule the country, not elizabeth II.
if that makes sense
but yeah. i'm kinda excited about it.
I found out about it last night, juss saying.y'all are really late... and i think somebody brought it up earlier today too, haha.
Interesting... I figured the king would have more power (ugh so sexist). So I'm guessing the Queen was the one born into royalty and she just married Phillip? So that way she could have the throne? Sorry... I'm not really good with the Royal Family history or how that stuff works, haha. It's hard enough trying to understand my own government.
