Interesting... I figured the king would have more power (ugh so sexist). So I'm guessing the Queen was the one born into royalty and she just married Phillip? So that way she could have the throne? Sorry... I'm not really good with the Royal Family history or how that stuff works, haha. It's hard enough trying to understand my own government.

Prince Phillip was a Greek (I think. I'm not quite sure.) prince before he married Queen Elizabeth. But yes, the Queen is the one who was born royal. Her father was George VI, the subject of The King's Speech, actually.

i know.. and yep, the queen is the royal one, philip is a greek royal, not british. but it wouldn't matter if she hadn't married, she would have got the throne because she was next in line. when the queen pops her clogs/abdicates, charles will be king and camilla will be queen (but doesn't do anything, she just gets the title, i think), but they're looking at a way to skip charles and camilla so wills and kate will go straight to the throne. so the line is..

elizabeth II, prince charles, prince william, prince harry. but harry won't get a turn because he's close in age to william, so they'll probably die around the same age, so he probably won't get a go on the throne. I WOULD LOVE OUR COUNTRY SO MUCH IF HE WAS KING. but like, if william dies, harry will take over.

That makes sense... I WANT HARRY TO BE YOUR KING! I don't want William to die... not so early... but.. ugh... i would love England 456789056789 times more if Harry was king!
