Quick flyby before we eat to let you all know that Marisa is on her way home. She went into surgery at 3 Pm and was in for two hours. The Dr was able to repair the torn meniscus and did as much as he could to the cartilage but he said her knee is a mess.

Just checked in to find out how she did. Glad to hear she's OK, sorry that the knee is a mess.

Gotta get back to the game......

Today is my 2 year wedding anniversary!!! This time last year we were heading to Typhoon Lagoon, Cirque de Soliel, HOB and then to the ER when Andew came down with Bell's Palsy! Oh and T was in the making (sorry TMI!!!)....yes, I have a Disney souvenir!!!

Things here are really good! We are fever free for the first time in 9 days! Leslie and Jacob still have a few more days on the tamiflu, but at least they are not contagious anymore!

We're almost to the princess lunch!

My mp3 player got water damaged in the rain today.

It turned on and looked okay, then I plugged in the headphones and it went wonky. Now, I can turn it on and hear audio, but the screen is just showing a solid bluish-gray screen.

Help?

Turn it off, remove the batteries and let it dry out completely. See if that helps, I have drowned a few things and Donny says not to use them until they are all dried out. Sometimes they come back to life.

No real dinner here tonight. It was late when I got back so we just turned the chicken into sandwiches for Buddy and salad and chicken for me. I really am going to cook this week

Marisa called and she is resting. She said that she fels okay and will have some toast. Erica is making sure she eats before she takes any pain meds. Kady stayed at her friends house so she never saw my Independance Day decorations. I may be able to pick a few more up before she gets ome tomorrow...she loves to be surprised by any Holiday decoration so I try to put some up for every Holiday and season.

Laura its really just beef,peppers,broccoli,spring onion ,water chest nuts , bok choy and garlic.

No soy so I guess that would work....OMG....Im soooo embarrassed this is like cooking for idiots !!

You could also try some teriyaki sauce if you want a sweeter flavor. Just depends on what you like. Stir fry is pretty much indestructible. As long as you keep tasting until you hit what you like.

Hey all! sorry I didn't get a chance to jump on earlier today. My iPhone went all wonky on me again. To the point where apple had to send me a new one. I spent the day backing stuff up and putting it on the new phone. I'm good to go now.

Wfd tonight was grilled burgers and corn.

Ann--must be the Emma name! Good luck to you. Hope she makes her arrival soon. Are you seeing the ob more often now that you are past your due date? I can remember going into the dr. Office and te staff saying "you're still here?" makes a prego lady feel really good.

Good Morning! Quick check in. I have T in my lap and Mom is stirring. Thank you for all the Anniversary wishes! We had a nice dinner home...porthouse steaks for Tom and I and Mom and A had tilapia. I also had some shrimp cocktail. Can I say I love love love Sandy's steak rub????

Andrew,T and I got to go to the pool yesterday for the first time...we got rained on for about 10 minutes but it was good to get out. Mom stayed by herself for a few hours.

I went back to bed but Ive got lots to do this afternoon.

The boy needs a hair cut and with the style guru he is its not a quick jaunt to the barbers.

My stylist does it and hes in there longer than I ever am !!

We then need to go to the Library to get stuff for his home work.

Hes to do a poster advertising the Roman Empire !!

Because its thursday its " * bairns night " at my mums.
The boy,my nephew,niece and my cousins wee boy all go to my mums for their tea.

Its bairns only so I drop him and pick him up from the door....no adults allowed !!

Im not sure what goes on at " Bairns night " and Im pretty sure I dont want to !!

I guess what goes on at Grandmas stays at Grandmas !!

We certainly do not need any veggies watered here. My cucumbers have drowned once again. My garden is a big weed patch but it has been out there.

I'll send all the to Marisa today. She is up and feeling better. Jeff came home last night so Erica went home. She stayed downstairs though and is keeping off of the stairs. She is not really in pain becasue we convinced her to take her pain pills and not play catch up. I'll check with her later to see if she feels like a little company. Poor Nola did not understand why she could not climb onto her yesterday. She kept bending off of me to hug Marisa but started to cry when I kept her in my arms. Risa did say that she can hold her today if we come by but I want to make sure before I stop in.

Welby said there was nothing that showed up for her yesterday. The poor thing really wanted something to show so that it could be fixed. I asked her to get her PCP to test for food allergies, there is definitely something going on. She said that she will be tested for Celiacs disease.

Her back was a different story. I hope that the Dr can help her, I know what Sheryl and Angelina are going through.

Bairns night sounds wonderful! My SIL does "Nana's Camp" with her grandchildren. They get together for a full day of activities with Nana! This year they did a cooking camp. She sent me pictures, and it looked like a lot of fun!
