Bethany - Game is on, we're down 1-0, nighty night, go to bed!

Bethany, If you are still awake... PLEASE Go to sleep!!!!

I went to sleep last night at 8....before the game even started....and I think I was more in another dimension than sleeping. :scared: I was so tired that I went to take a "little power nap" before working on my to do list, which is QUITE LONG still. Um...I set an alarm for last night and also had my phone with the volume ON right next to my head. NOTHING woke me up last night. NOT A THING. :headache: I woke up this morning at 5 totally disoriented. :confused3

Tonight I shall wait to go to sleep until mid-way through the game. :headache:

Why not try a pencil sharpener?

:lmao: Have YOU tried one? I heard it's quite hot. I've got one packed in my carry-on already! :rotfl:

So has anyone heard from Ann?

Glynis, those pictures are making me want to jump a plane to LA ... the California LA that is.

So I do not know how I'm going to get everything done now that I "slept" so much last night. :sad2:

Well our Tigers played awful last night so it comes down to the final game tonight.

Hopefully Ann will check in.

WFD - Apricot pork tenderloin, wild rice and zucchini crisps.

:So has anyone heard from Ann?

Hopefully Ann will check in.

Morning all...still here !!!

Got a good night sleep...wouldn't mind going today, but not getting my hopes up anymore! Stubborn little girl will come when she is good an dready. ;)

------
Anyone heard from Maria???
------

Glynis, get pics. Kids are beautiful and you look like you had a ball. I can't believe how big Timothy is!!!

-------

Marisa, wishing you well with surgery!!!!!

------

Kathy, hope Johnny is feeling better and you asre coping!!!

Ann I have a subborn child I pity you. She will make an appearance soon. Hopefully on her own decision.;)

Why did I take the next 3 days off when we are finally getting a heat wave?
I have stuff to do in the yard. Looks like I'll be cleaning the basement today. It is nice and cool down there. I need to get my house company ready. I put off too many little projects like painting my bathrooms and staining the deck.

I am hoping my cousin can get here. His wife is hoping he will stay well. He is the cousin that had a stroke a couple years back and is confined to a wheel chair. I need to look into getting a ramp or something so we can get him in the house. I measured my front steps and it seems doable. I just don't want any gliches.

We are getting take out either pizza or chinese. Now that I said chinese I think that will be dinner.

Ladies, I'm dying here!

Casey Jr. Train and the "wild animals":

My favorite! I also really like the family picture, it is so easy to see that strong family resemblance your kids all have. Lucky Grandpa!

What changes Timmy has made since his birth. I am always amazed how quickly babies change as they grow, nothing short of miraculous!

Morning all...still here !!!

Ann, I hate to say it but this is how it goes with girls ;) Whoever said women are the"weaker" sex never met the girls in my family :lmao: Marisa has her brothers quaking in fear when she goes on the warpath and I know that my own brother has been known to hide when he has gotten my bloomers in a bunch. Now Gail is a sneaky woman....everyone thinks that she is sweet, quiet and easy going.....:rotfl2::rotfl2:

So get ready to watch your DH twist inside out to keep little Emma from going GIRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL....her big brother run for cover if he gets in her way and well......it is going to be fun for you :goodvibes! Girls rock!

Kathy- are you surviving Johnny's back?

Bethany- you will et it all done, don't stress. You needed taht rest and I can see that the NOLA girls are going to make sure that you are "resting" again for the next game :lmao:

Laura- I don't know how you are doing but I know that if the sun does not come out soon here there is going to be some sort of disaster in my house! I am so tired of this dreary weather!

Dinner turned out to be sandwiches for buddy and a big salad for me. I had good intentions but my niece and nephew came by with my new little Vinnie. Oh, what a little miracle he is! I loved watching Amy and Anthony with him, they never missed any opportunity to kiss him somewhere :cloud9: And I got to catch up on all of the family drama that I generally don't hear. Then I stayed with Welby because a Craigslist person was supposed to pick up a stroller that she was selling. They never showed up but it was too late for me to cook.

I am going to try to get dinner ready before I pick Marisa up today. I do have Nola, her Mom is also going for several procedures today and while her hubby said he would stay home from work, I think she may need him more later on so as long as the baby is content she will stay with me.

A little tidbit. Extreme Homemakeover Home Edition is redoing a home in town this week. The street is blocked off but my Dh and his partner in mischief cruised in yesterday looking like contractors and took pictures. Buddy said it was :dance3: there, there were machines taking the house down while backhoes were digging the foundation. Other crews were digging for pipes and wires....organized chaos to the tenth! He said that by today the forms for the basement would be in adn the walls poured and building would be underway. Amazing!

He was pretty cute, he took pictures on his phone, something he has never done, and was hysterical when he asked me how to bring them up :rotfl:

Nancy Is Buddy turning in to a private investigator? How funny PI Buddy. Thinking about Marissa wish her well for us

Kathy I hope Johnny is feeling better.

Ok I am off to do something productive.:rolleyes1

Thanks for asking how I'm surviving...in 24 hours he'll be leaving for work....:dance3::yay::cool1::dance3:

Nan - A few years ago we had a house fairly close to us that EMHE did, it was total chaos, but fun! Sad though, passed by it a few weeks ago, the people aren't keeping it up.:sad2:

Good Morning!

All is well here so far...Mom and I just woke up (yes, the baby let me sleep until 9:15! - he got up once at 6:45 for a bottle and went back down).

I am not going to be able to keep up but want to check in for the latest baby news and surgery update.

Ann, Hang in there...any time now. You must be soooo ready!

Marisa, Thinking of you today!

Glynis, love the pics! I have not been able to read back but looks like you have a fab time!

******
Today is my 2 year wedding anniversary!!! :cool1: This time last year we were heading to Typhoon Lagoon, Cirque de Soliel, HOB and then to the ER when Andew came down with Bell's Palsy! Oh and T was in the making (sorry TMI!!!)....yes, I have a Disney souvenir!!!

We are going to go out to a nice dinner when Mom leaves. I am going to grill porterhouse steaks with Sandy's awesomest rub...baked potatoes and chopped salad.

Have a great day all!

Kingcrab We are 35 miles due west of the city. We will need to let you know when we have a Chicago area meet. There are Diser's all over the Chicago area.

I really need to figure what I am making for dinner It just maybe too hot to grill :upsidedow

sounds about Naperville/Aurora-ish. I grew up in Naperville, and lived in Naperville or Lisle for 35 years.

Not quite. I am in the Bartlet side of Carol stream if that makes sense. The border of Carol stream and Bartlett near Rt 59

:love:Happy Anniversary Lauren & Tom!!!!!

------

last nights WFD- Honey Bunches of Oats for DH, and Cream of Wheat for me!!:lmao:

WFD - burgers and fries or chips.

Nothing gourmet from this prego lady lately!!!!

Ann - I'm crossing my fingers for you! I never had a child make it to their due date! Katie was closest, but she was still a week early. Jacob was 2 weeks early, the twins were 5 weeks early, and Timothy was 2 weeks early. Guess my kids inherited my impatience!

Lauren - Happy Anniversary!!! I hope you guys have a great day today!

Bethany - Sounds like your body needed the rest! Enjoy it while you can!

Nancy - Please pass on my love and prayers to Marisa! I hope all goes well with the surgery.

Kathy - Sending good vibes for the Tigers! I like to listen to the angst from you as you post! I'm not much into sports, but I will root for whoever you want me to!

Things here are really good! We are fever free for the first time in 9 days! Leslie and Jacob still have a few more days on the tamiflu, but at least they are not contagious anymore! So, we are off to run all the errands that have piled up while we've been at home. Library, grocery store, etc.

I'll post some more Day 5 pictures in a few minutes. We're almost to the princess lunch!
