Tonight we're going to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert a secind time with some friends. Its an early show so I hope we catch some dinner afterwards!

tonight I am having this....

Couscous-Stuffed Chicken
Stuff chicken breasts with a savory mixture of couscous, tomato, olive and feta cheese for an elegant, Mediterranean-style meal thats fit for company.

SOunds Delicious! i thought that I was the only one who would leave out the olives, but I see I have company! This is going onto my "Must Make" list!


Sipping leftover sangria. Welby made a huge pitcher but no one drank it so she brought some to me. It is good, but a little watered down because she added ice. I brought all o my peach schnapps to her house yesterday, but now I wish I had some. I think a little would go a long way. It is probably just as well, because I would not be able to stand! I did add a touch of liquid raw sugar and now it is perfect.

Tonight is Roast beef grinders. I am tired! I have been going room to room, doing my late Spring cleaning. The girls and Jeff went out for Thai and sushi, but I just wanted to come home.

I have a workshop tomorrow. The Farm bureau is hosting the DOT so we can learn more about registering vehicles. It is timely because Buddy bought a truck to haul his water tank around, It is road worthy. It used to be a commercial vehicle, and it is overweight but not 18000 lbs. Anyway, they want me to get a DOT number, a commercial insurance policy, which I did, but to go 3 miles on the road a few times a year????? I could not register it, because it needs to be inspected by a commercial dealer, a temporary plate that is only good to go to the inspection center and back is $50.

Anyway, I am going to sit through this thing with all my paperwork ans see how this is supposed to be done. The DMV was difficult at best. (I wanted to murder Buddy for buying this thing, the weight class alone is a nightmare.

Thanks brandi! There used to be exemptions for farm vehicles, but the DMV said that those are gone since the accident on Avon mountain. Buddy said he has heard otherwise, but I cannot argue something I don't understand. I am glad that this is being offered so I can get a handle of the laws that are in place.

hope you get the answers you are looking for, the DMV is not my favorite place to go and deal with them...
