We have no plans for the weekend, in fact our plans involve canceling more plans.  My big splurge for the weekend will involve two things. First for the 4th of July I plan to cook burgers and I will eat mine with a bun! 

  if I wake up tomorrow and get on the scale and I am still within my initial goal weight, that will have been seven days in a row of having held my first goal and I will make myself a Gingerbread cake as a reward.  That's my splurging for the weekend.
Last night we had steak on the BBQ, green beans and mushrooms cooked in a sweet red wine sauce. I used agave instead of brown sugar.
Tonight we are having Halibut and veggie kebabs. I will have mine over brown and wild rice while Fran has plain white rice. I have a feeling we will be canceling our Sunday dinner reservations.
