I'm sorry that there was an illness in your home but happy that it is over before your trip. Counting down with you!

I also need to make a couple of batches of salt dough so Jacob can make a topical map of Utah to be handed in next week. I hate these kinds of assignments. Oh well.

I think that they all are that kind of project ;)

Okay here are some couch photos (with Anabelle!)

Love the couch! Love that pup!

Supposed to have lasagna tonight- but I'm not feeling great. We'll see.

Oh no! Not you too??!!??!!

Another sickie here too. Trying to make a roast chicken with herb skin and roasted garlic cream gravy with potatoes, spinach and carrots.

Congrats on scoring BWV!

Now stop cooking and get back on the couch! You are supposed to be resting!

No cooking here! I did cook chicken for Buddy's lunch but Marisa and Kady, Erica and I are going to IHOP for dinner. I have been craving their pancakes for weeks now and they have their Holiday ones out. I give up and we are going! Buddy can join us and have pancakes or h can have leftovers.

I am not sure if he will come. Kady was fresh this morning on the walk to Catechism. She refused to apologize. She was supposed to spend the day with him so that Marisa and I could have brunch with Maria but when we learned that Maria was sick she thought that she was going to be home. He would have taken her out anyway but she did not know that so she got sassy. He told her plans were canceled. She is so her Mother's DD and refused to let us know that she was upset.

Aimee We had to go to the health dept for the vaccine and fill out a form. There has been the nasal but we couldn't get that because of other health issues.

Depts here are only giving to children right now. We are evidently not getting near the doses other states are given, in relation to our population. :confused3

Hope everyone else who is under the weather feels better soon.:grouphug:

My magic fairy(Janice):wizard: worked some magic for us yesterday and got us two nights at BWV!!!!!!!:yay::dance3::cool1:

I hope you feel better, and am so excited about your trip!

Pretty!! Cute puppy too

We took the boy to get a new mattress today and he was so into it it made me laugh.
Trying them all out, askin Q's but as he said " he's 9 now and needs to be more involved and take more interest in family issues "....

:rotfl2:

I won't be leaving until early evening, now, which is good. Less stressful of an afternoon! Some things with work drama are resolved, but not in a good way. Just in a less public way. Which is good I guess.

Dinner will be on the road to Houston.

Aimee, safe travels.

Kathy, BWV is my favorite.

Janice, what a pal to help Kat with DVC points. We just sold our VWL, I may be looking to rent from one of my WFD friends down the line now.:sad1: Part of me is going to miss it but I know iit wont keep us from WDW.

Bethany, love the couch and the pup!

Vicky, the boy is so darn funny and mature!:lmao:

Nancy, poor Buddy being sassed by his girl. Girls and those attitudes I have had one maybe two in my day.;)

Wow, alot of sickness here and in everyones families. Sending prayers to all.

Thanks! :goodvibes Sure, post those snow pictures!

I'm not Sheryl, but those colors sound like it should brighten up the basement and look good! Will we get to see photos later?

I hope so! It all depends on how the painting turns out. Keep those fingers crossed!

Let me know how the holiday pancakes are? I'm dying to try them. We go to IHOP on Christmas Eve morning, and I'm hoping the holiday flavors are still there, then.

Bethany -- Nice pictures! Annabelle looks like she has grown. The "pelican waffles" comment nearly made me choke. :rotfl:

Glynis, as you probably know, I do too. I can not understand why kids get assignments that are more work for the parents than for the kids. This morning, I had to look for information on three-toed sloths.

Depts here are only giving to children right now.

The vaccine has been really hard to find here as well. Have a safe trip!

Nancy -- I'm sorry Kady missed out on her day with Buddy. I'm sure he was disappointed too.

I hope everyone who is sick is feeling better.

My mom made linguine and clams, arugula salad and bread for dinner tonight. It was really yummy.

Stay safe. I'm sorry that there is dissension in your Church

We had pecan spice, eggnog and gingerbread. The eggnog were not great. We thought that the cream would be a soft vanilla spiced cream but it was cold puddinglike goo. YUCH! Marisa said the pecan spice rocked! Erica and I split our eggnog and gingerbread pancakes and by far the gingerbread was the best! Like eating warm gingerbread cake. I could have licked the butter rum sauce off the plate!

WFD Pork tenderloin, smashed potatoes and salad. The tenderloin smells so good I can hardly wait.

I PM'd the Holiday list one of these days I will figure out how to add clip art so it shows in the PM's. I don't even know if that is possible :confused3 When next I see Dan Murphy I will ask him.

Have a great night everyone

Janice, our pork tenderloin was so yummy! I hope you enjoy yours as well.

Bethany -- Nice pictures! Annabelle looks like she has grown. The "pelican waffles" comment nearly made me choke. :rotfl:

Uh oh! I don't want to be responsible for something like that!

And yes, she is bigger than she was. She's about 24 inches long and 24 inches tall (to the top of her head when standing).

Bethany - got the coupons in the mail, thank you so much!!!!

You're welcome!

I am going to try to get them out BEFORE Christmas this year!!

Yum! The Gingerbread ones were the ones I was most interested in! I hope they're still there when we go. Too bad about the egg nog pancakes, though. I had hopes that they would be good.

Thanks so much!!!! Can't respond to everyone, stomach is really giving me fits this evening.

Quick pop in...crazy weekend... but wanted to let you all know I'm thinking of you. Those who are not feeling well...hope you are better real soon!!
Janice--You Rock!! Thanks so much for taking care of the list for all of us!!

Here is the tenderloin recipe I made yesterday. It is definitely a keeper.:thumbsup2 it is from Food and Wine magazine

Spiced-rubbed pork tenderloin

Ingredients
4 pork tenderloins (about 4 pounds)
2 teaspoons smoked paprika (pimenton)
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°. Set the tenderloins on a large rimmed baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika with the cumin, garlic powder, oregano and cinnamon. Rub the pork with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the spice mixture all over the pork. Roast the tenderloins for about 25 minutes, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the centers registers 145°. Transfer the tenderloins to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice the tenderloins 1/2 inch thick and serve.

Quick morning check in..I will be back later at some point to really catch up!!

WFD--Kielbasa with cabbage and apples for Ross and myself, and Kris will have Shepards Pie that I froze single serve ones of for just these reasons, lol.
