Wow what a few days I have had. Dr. Appt. went great, so great that I don't have to go back for 4 months. YEA!! We slipped and slid the whole way there though. We haven't seen the sun in 6 days now.

Well, I'm with Lori, my packing hasn't even begun. And somehow I've got to cram everything in a carry on b/c I refuse to pay the checked bag fee for a long weekend. Might have to limit the amount of shoes I take. Darn it!

Have you talked to Becky? She manages to get ten days into one carryon. I am in awe! Buddy won;t even stand near me when the bags get weighted anymore!

Back to business...I have my suitcase packed & it will stay packed so I am always looking to travel as we all know. Perhaps it's time to visit some WDW gals.
Keep in mind my suitcase is packed for warmer weather

John invited me out to dinner but I am not sure if I want to go. It is supposed to be really cold and I don't have my heavy winter coat with me. If we go home the planned menu is vietnamese style carmelized shrimp, soy-sesame blasted sugar snap peas, and jasmine rice.

If Buddy suggests dinner out I am I have been known to shove everything into the refrigerator before he can even get in the door!

Ladies, Welby says she thinks she did okay with her hearing. The Unemployment man said that the dentist was not fighting it so unless he appeals she is good! The creep could have spared her the stress an just given her a pink slip

Well Elizabeth just called and Ethan now has Scarlet Fever also. She noticed a rash all over his little body (he's only 5) and called the doctor. And found out this does happen with strep, it's not A-typical but it does happen sometimes. Poor little guy.

Yes it was a girl. Ali and him have gone together for a long time. They broke up in August, but were still talking. He found out yesterday that she was with his best friend on Saturday. Isn't there an unwritten law somewhere that says you don't be with your best friend. I feel so sorry for him and could wring Ali's and Joey's necks. WTH were they thinking?? Oh MY!!! His heart hurts so bad and I keep telling him time will heal but I feel so useless because I can't help more.

Ladies, I am so happy for all of you getting together in WDW - Have a BLAST and think of us once in awhile. You will be so missed. Safe travel blessings my dear friends.

Ellen - glad you got good news from the Doctor and that you don't have to go back for a while. and condolences on the loss of your friends. Poor Ethan, I hope he feels better soon. Did Matthew break up with his girlfriend or is he upset because he didn't get to the next golf round? for him either way, its never easy on parents when the kids are hurting. We know they'll survive, it just takes them a while to figure it out. Prayers coming for quick recoverys.

Maria, ! I am feeling you need to have a road trip to RI after the holidays! I would say before but we have a number of things coming up between Luke's Birthday, Emma's Baptism, Ron's Birthday, our WDW trip and all the holidays too. It is not to late to rebook your flight pack a small bag and stay a long weekend with your friends!!!

I have been a cleaning machine all day. I moved furniture in Luke's room which is actually going to be Emma's very soon. I just love changing furniture for a new change.

WFD- Chicken Marsala (minus the mushrooms , I don't have any), rice pilaf, and green beens.

Time I finally jumped in the shower before Ron get home and Emma is sleeping.

Dinner tonight will be Italian. I bought a box of frozen Arancini (sp?) at Trader Joes and also have some breaded eggplant in the freezer as well. Make those with a little marinara for dipping and maybe some garlic bread.

Kathy -- I am sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you are not feeling sore in the morning.

Buddy won;t even stand near me when the bags get weighted anymore!

I think my bag was 49.8 lbs one time. I'm glad Welby thinks the hearing went well.

Ellen -- Caili had that rash when she had strep too. It went away after two days on the antibiotics. I have to say, Matthew deserves so much better. Any girl who would get together with her ex's best friend is not worth having. And any best friend who would get together with his best friend's ex is not much of a friend.

That said, I can think of one exception: My SIL did get together with her ex's best friend (and ended up marrying him) but the relationship had ended years ago and her future husband asked his best friend if it was okay. It was and the friend was best man at the wedding.

I never got to the store today, so I am limited to what I have in the house. That means we're having pasta.

Ellen- my BIL's GF did that too. She had a young boy and Gary's friend had twins. It did not end well, kathy was looking for something better and the friend was not going into anther relationship. and I think my BIL was better off without her but it was a shame that a long time friendship was ruined.

I'll tell ya... I am so thankful I'm married and not in the dating scene anymore, esp my early 20s. Such a yucky time of life to be in - so much heartache and rejection.

We work alongside a Cambodian community and they still do arranged marriages and you know, the more I get to know these families and couples the more I think they may be onto something

Well, it was a Lean Cuisine and you know they don't give you much food That edamame was so tasty but man, my gut hurt afterwards. I should know better than to eat that much "fiber" in one sitting

Morning lovely ladies! I'm at the airport ready to board the first of 2 flights today. Will be in Florida at 11:30 and Orlando shortly thereafter. I can't wait to meet those that are coming. Woot! And for those holding down the fort here, be prepared for an onslaught of mobile uploads via facebook!

Maria--still very upset that you won't be joining us. I'm headed back down to wdw in January. Interested? Oh and I did get everything in a carry-on. I am such an over-packer that it was a challenge. I even had to "sneak" some liquids through security. my quart bag was full and I couldn't leave my hair products at home. Yep, I'm pretty high maintenance. LOL!

Okay, gonna finish my starbucks and get ready to go!

Hey Y'all,

I was too wiped out last night to check in & let y'all know we arrived safely. I'm sorry! We had a good easy flight & we were at the BC by 12:15. Checked in & found out our room was ready, our groceries had arrived & then our luggage came about a half later!! We were doing the magical happy dance! I was able to unpack, put together DH's lift, so my late evening would be easier. It was great! Oh and they gave us Happy Anniversary buttons & a pink rose for me! (We didn't get to celebrate our 33rd anniv. last month, so sweet DH called & told Disney!) The only damper was when we were ready to head out to our culinary demo the sky fell! But then it slowed down & made it over there. It was drizzly, hot & steamy but we braved through it & cruised the booths for the rest of the evening. I hope all of you are well!

Nancy, We are praying for you & Buddy today! I will check in later or call you!

Kat ~ how are you feeling this morning? I hope the ankle is pain free and you aren't sore after your little accident yesterday. You have way to much to do today to feel yucky.

Ethan is feeling better this morning. He has been fever free since last night around 8. Slept all night and is raring to go this morning. Elizabeth is having a heck of a time keeping him quiet. I took them some homemade chicken noodle soup last night and his little eyes looked like he still didn't feel to good. But he is 5 so he has bounced back pretty good today.

Thanks for all of the thoughts for Matthew. He will be fine - he just doesn't know it yet. My heart just hurts for him though. He will be home tonight and I can't wait to get my arms around him. It is Fall Break so he is off until next Wednesday. He is going into Lincoln tomorrow with friends until next Monday so I will enjoy him tonight. So with that in mind . . .

WFDT ~ Filets, baked potatoes, green salad and an Angel Food cake. I might not be able to heal his heart but I can make his tummy feel good.

Dinner tonight is our Friday night group; this weeks rotation is a dine-out night. We are headed to Santa Fe Cattle Co., a relatively new restaurant in our area. DH and I haven't been, but the rest of our group has and they say it's really good.
