Hey guys...just wanted to pop back in quick...it is 8:15 and I am still eating dinner...a big salad. I got the garage somewhat organized so that is one more thing done. There is so much stuff in there! Tomorrow is cleaning.

Vicki, You are in my prayers. Please try and rest up as best you can to get ready for your trip.

Sheryl, Prayers for Alexis and everyone else too. Yes, I did get the PM...I am sorry I did not get back to you. Don't worry about bringing everything with you. The only thing I really need is the pressed powder. Maybe I will give you a ring tomorrow...I did not buy any MK today but I did win the eye cream in a raffle!!!

Kathy, A sprain at times can be worse than a break. Rest, rest and more rest...and maybe if need be a cortizone shot. Take Aleve too.

Not sure if I will be back later...I really need to relax. Big Fat Greek Wedding is on...love that movie!!!

Thanks all for the prayers for our girl! I know that y'all understand her distress & her Mama & Nana's worries! I can't even begin to explain how much I appreciate having you all for friends.

Maria, Please post your pics! My pictures do not look half as nice as Becky's but I still post them. Becky is the Queen We can all aspire to be her, but realize we never will!

Becky, Please do not quit posting your pics! They are such an inspiration for me & my cooking! Bob shows not only my pics to friends at work, but your's as well! Remember one of the young guys asked if you were married?!

I think I might need to check into your hairdresser! You are definitely getting a bargain. Is she doing a two step color on your hair? (covering gray roots & highlghts, it sure looks like she is.)

Good Morning!

Quick check in...do I even have to say that anymore? Dinner tonight will be tilapia but I am not sure of the sides. I will do it in a packet for me and fried for A.

Not sure I will be on much today...have a few errands and my BIL is staying over tonight. He called last night and asked if I was up to a house guest....I said, My Mother??? But he is working a in the area for 2 days and does not want to drive that far...he is one of those people that buy old gold and silver.

Morning ladies, I am sitting here enjoy my nice Fall breakfast. A pumpkin muffin and coffee with vanilla spiced rum creamer. Yummy!

Luke seems to be a bit better, still very congested but he slept well.

WFD- Glynis' Italian Ravioli Stew. I am going to add some mini pork meatballls to it. It is a nice Fall day for some soup. I have to dig deep in the back of my pantry and dust off the crockpot now.

Good morning ladies! Another Monday. Back to the daily grind. I just keep reminding myself that after today I only have 3 work days left until vacation! Tonight is Monday night football so I'm not having to cook. We're headed over to a single guy's house tonight, so dinner should be interesting.

As for the hair coloring, I'm very lucky to not have to deal with gray hair. Maybe that's why my price is much lower.

I'm so jealous, it's going to be around 90 all week down here. Glad to hear Luke is feeling a little better.

I ended up not making them, as I was knocked out by a migraine. I want to try to get to them today, so I'll keep you posted.

Dinner last night was so yummy! I coated the chicken in sun-dried tomato vinaigrette dressing, and then some bread crumbs, and baked it until it was done. The dressing gave it a nice tangy flavor and helped hold in the moisture.

The soup was divine!!! Definitely a keeper! I'll post the recipe if anyone wants it. Just let me know!

Not sure what's for dinner tonight. It's an odd day here. Alan took the week off to go elk hunting, but ended up not going today since the furnace guys are coming out this afternoon. The kids don't have school today as it is a professional development day for the teachers, so having everyone at home is kind of throwing me off! I need to get to the store today, so I'll figure out what we're going to have before I go. It's a dreary day again today, so I want to find something warm and comforting.

Off to the first page for ideas I go! Have a great day ladies!!!

Good morning everyone. I need to catch up AGAIN!! But I will and BBL to "talk " to you all, but in the mean time I wanted to post real quick.

We had a fun weekend. The parade was so much fun. It was a bit chilly but not to bad really. We did some shopping and ate out at Red Robin. YUM! Went to church yesterday and came home and fixed grilled ham & cheese sandwiches with Tomato Basil soup for me and Ethan, and Loaded Baked Potato soup for Doug. It was cold and windy so the soup hit the spot. Ethan went home around 5:30 and OH my did I miss that little guy. It is sure lively when he is here. Real quite when he isn't.

Tonight Stephanie and Doug have Community Christmas Choir practice so she will be here for Dinner. YEA!!!

WFDT ~ Chicken Alfredo, garlic sticks and a grenn salad.

Becky how did you make the orzo? It looks so good.

It's basically mac and cheese! I just cooked the orzo and tossed it with a little olive oil, then made a white sauce with gruyere cheese, and baked it at 400 for about 20 minutes.

I will take some photos but I have Becky picture intimidationhence why I have stopped posting my food porn.

I really do wish that you would start posting pictures again. Sometimes I feel bad that nobody else posts pictures!

Vickie, I am so sorry to hear about your tooth troubles. I hope you get clearance to fly, and that you are feeling better soon.

Kathy, I have gotten really bad sprained ankles a couple of times--like bruises all the way up to my knee! You should definitely go back and see if they can give you anything, but if not, really the only thing you can do it keep it elevated and wrap it well if you need to walk on it.

Y'all...Please pray for Alexis. She is on her way back to the dr. complained of stomach pain all night, had diarrhea. Now she is crying that she hurts all over & is running fever. Chris is actually hoping it might be the flu, it would be better than something internal again. I told her to make sure they test & confirm flu before leaving there!

Oh MY!! Prayers are being said. That baby has had it. NO MORE!! I so hope they can find out what is going on. Please keep us informed.

You all sure do pay a lot for your hair fixing. I guess I had better give my Elizabeth a great big hug. She is a stylist, she stays home with Ethan now, but does work 2 Saturdays a month to keep current. I get my hair cut and colored every 3 weeks (it grows like weeds). I love highlights but it so dries my hair out that I only do those every 8 weeks. She always waxes me everytime. She never lets me pay her - she says - you sent me to school (she graduated with NO school loans hanging over her head) - this is my payment. But I do have to tell ya all - there are times she does some funky things with my hair. I am her guinnea pig a lot of times. But it all is good in the end. I had no idea how much money I was saving. WOW!!!

That doctor should be shot!! Us Mothers and Nanna's do know something once in awhile. Chris KNEW something wasn't right and now this. Poor baby. We said prayers for her at noon prayer group.
