Sick husbands are not fun. They all think they are dying A friend at work and I laugh at her husband a while ago he hurt his foot and thought
he would have to have surgery. So now every time he gets sick I ask if he is scheduled for surgery.


In all fairness this virus that is going around is brutal. My neighbor and a few distant friend ( I won't let them near ) say they have horrible headaches and congestion.

Ellen I am so glad Jay is on his way home. I too have his box ready. I'll just save it.

Just got back from my dentist, he finished up the root canal that was started in Orlando and informed me that the Orlando dentist screwed it up enough that I now need a crown.

This just made me laugh. Alan has the same thing, and he so wanted to stay home today. I cringed when he called work, but they told him they really needed him, so I breathed a sigh of relief as he walked out the door.

Oh my! This cold thing is bad! If Buddy gets it I am running away! Hope Alan is better tomorrow!

I have spent a lot of time in the last 7 or 8 years watching football in a nice variety of weather and figured I better know what I was watching. I can now yell at the refs with the best of them!

We aren't getting much here so far from Ida, just some on & off rain and wind gusts. It looks like it's going to go in near Pensacola, but hopefully will weaken. A's school was closed but Chris didn't find out until she pulled in to the parking lot, so she took off work. DH is trying to leave work early, he works on a canal & are outside the levees. I'm sitting around watching the weather & not much else.

Thank goodness Ida weakened and is not hitting your area. I want it to just fade away!

Ive cut bread from my diet and Im missing my PB&J's sooooo much.

I kept jar of peanut butter in the fridge, and every time I go in I take a huge sniff....it smells soooo good.

For those of you that missed it, I basically said I had PLANNED to go to Outback Steakhouse for my birthday (I even had a coupon saved up for it) but I didn't want to get caught in the bad weather (that pretty much fizzled - as of now).

So, DH made me a cheeseburger instead, but Anabelle jumped up and grabbed it before I was able to stop her. DH said that I let her do it and it was my fault that she ate it.

I ended up having to make myself a peanut butter sandwich.

He made me another cheeseburger though and tomorrow we are going to Outback (with my coupon)!

Hey Guys! We are back from the most awesome trip! I have not read past this page but wanted to check in. Thomas was such a good boy and Andrew had a ball with his brother in Disney! T got his hair cut on Main Street and had his first 5 minutes of fame on the big screen at Monster's Inc Laugh Floor!

He won't even allow me to put a lamp on...."he's to sick" so I proceeded to put laundry away in the dark.
Tomorrow when he asks me where something is I can truly say I have no idea. I stuffed the dresser & shoved things in the closet.
I may have slammed a few drawers along the way.....

Y'all crack me up with your sick DH stories. My DH is the same way! He has not an ounce of sympathy to send my way when I'm sick/hospitalized and he gets a cold and wants me to stay home from work and take care of him!

Buddy has come a long way from asking my sick self "Do you want some tea?" and then bellowing "RISA! Make your Mother tea!" to running a bath if I am sick. He has no idea what else to do so he runs hot water an pours Kady's vapobath into it. He has found his sensitive side

Good Morning~ Quick check in...I am trying to get some stuff done but it is hard with Tom being sick. He went to the dr...he has the flu. They put him on Tamiflu so I am just trying to keep myself and the kids germ free. The Lysol is getting good use since we are home!

I am going to pick up Riley later. I miss him. My sister said he is doing well but stinky since he cannot get a bath. I have to make a follow up appt for him.

As far as the trip, it was great. We really enjoyed the Sheraton...we bought timeshare but may back out. We could use that $ towards some new furniture and I really liked the Beach club so may buy there someday...or just get some more DVC points.

I didn't take alot of food pics but we really enjoyed TRex, Rose and Crown, Yachtsman, Brown Derby, Beaches and Cream, Nine Dragons, and the breakfasts at Cape May and Ohana...oh and cant forget Ghiradelli's for ice cream! I think that is all we did...that Tables in Wonderland card is wonderful! We had awesome seats and R&C and Nine Dragons to watch the fireworks too.

I will hopefully get to download some pics today.

Ellen, I am so happy that Jay is coming home!!! Enjoy your vacation!
