The "we'll get up when we like " tour (day 4)

Tues 24th June

I woke up at 7.20 and set a. Mickey call for 8.15 to wake the kids. We had muffins bought at Walmart in the room. Then world war 3 broke out. Gary and Julie were having mega arguments. Julie had pmt and Gary was winding her up. We went for the bus to Epcot but Julie refused to get on the bus .We went back to the room. Julie said she just wanted to read her book. I took it off her and told her if she wanted to stay in the room we would but she wasn’t going to have any fun. I went for a cup of coffee and phoned home. By the time I got back to the room they were best of friends again and were acting as nothing had happened. Don’t you just love them. It was so hot by now we decided to have a few hours by the pool. We all went in then I decided to do some laundry so I went back to the room collected the laundry put it in the machine then went back in the pool for a swim. Half an hour later I got out of the pool and put the clothes in the dryer then back to the sun beds while it dried. I love doing laundry like this. We went to the food court for lunch then back into the pool. The pool started getting busy late afternoon as people came back from the parks. We were all tired probably with the heat so we went back to the room and had a sleep. We set a Mickey call because tonight we were going to the E night.

We caught the bus to MK and after exchanging our tickets for wristbands headed straight for Peco Bills for chicken wraps. It was quite busy and we ended up with 5 drinks instead of 3 somehow. It was 8.50 by the time we had finished so we decided to head outside and watch Spectro Magic from the end of the parade instead of the beginning for a change. As soon as it finished we headed down Main Street to watch FITS. We stood in the tracks and had a great view of Tinkerbell and the castle.

We headed back to Tomorrowland and did Buzz, TTA,and the kids did space mountain. We went back to Buzz because Gary was determined he was going to beat our scores but still didn’t manage. The queue for space mountain wasn’t very long so they both ran back on it. I sat on a bench and drank a bottle of water because it was still so hot. Next we went to Frontierland . The kids went on Thunder Mountain then onto Splash Mountain. They rode Splash 3 times and came off at 1.10am. We had a slow walk out of the park and heard Mickey saying goodnight to everyone. We stood and looked at the castle for a few minutes watching it change colour. The park was empty and it was so nice having a quiet moment to ourselves. We were back at the room by 1.50am . Gary was wide awake and poured himself a beer but Julie and me went straight to sleep. We didn’t set the alarm.

I have never stayed to see the castle changing colors and mickey saying goodnight, that sounds lovely.
