The we loooooove Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Part 4

Ah, that makes sense if you have a personal relationship with someone who can ask. As much as it was nice to see the fireworks, I think I'd rather get the lake view. That parking deck view is meh, even 5 floors up from it.
That is what I thought, lake views are stunning and not sure we will be “at home” for Fireworks anyway.

Are all 4 Br Presidential considered "Reserve" and are they all lake Views?
I have a 4br Presidential booked but would be disappointed if it was a parking lot view

The presidential units are all on the highest floors, so a "parking lot view" would be looking straight down instead of out.

This is several years old from Tower 5 and NOT a presidential unit. Those were a few floors higher up from this.

Is every view from a presidential a sweeping view of Epcot? No, but it's an example of many of the views that look out toward the "parking lot" as opposed to the lake at the center of the resort.

You can't guarantee a view at Bonnet Creek. The best you can do is book a presidential unit, which will be on the top floors. If you want a view guaranteed you have to book a Disney resort.

But is there a difference between 4br "PRESIDENTIAL" and 4 br "PRESIDENTIAL RESERVE" or are they both the same thing?

They are different categories.

4bdm presidential can be in any of the six towers in the upper floors

4 bdrm PR are only in tower 6. You have a separate check in at tower 6 (so you dont have to go the main lobby) and you have to use a keycard to get onto the floors with PR rooms. So the floors arent open to the rest of the guests who arent staying PR on that floor.

There are parking lot views whether you are PR or presidential.

I took the Mears in April 2022 to the hotel. It dropped off at the Grand and you had to walk to the timeshare front desk to check in but I didn't mind. Sad it is not listed anymore. .
I mean the Bonnet Creek shuttle to the parks. I think that was discontinued.

The owner has called but room request is benefit for the owner only not for their guests, so no luck.

Two things I doubt now:
1) are only presidential reserve units on higher floors or presidential units as well? Also I read on TUG that it appears most 1BR presidentials are facing the parking lot, can someone confirm this?

2) is all tower 6 renovated? We have stayed in T 3 (2BR) and T5 (1BR) before and both were the “grey” paint renovated style we liked. Now hoping that the 1BR presidential will be updated as well…

Thanks!

PR rooms are on the higher floors tower 6 and are key locked in the elevator. Four bedroom presidentials are on the higher floors but can be any tower. Presidential rooms 1-3 are all in tower 6 - so not on the top floors.

One bdrm presidential do mostly face the parking lot.

We stayed 4 bdrm PR last November in tower 6 and i think it was beiges. It was beautiful. Im not sure the rest of the rooms.

"Facing the parking lot" also means they are more likely to have a fireworks view. You are high up, so you won't be looking at the back of a car.

I've stayed at Bonnet several times now, with a variety of locations and views. Honestly, they have all been fine. I liked some better than others, and I understand wanting the best location possible. But it is probably not worth losing much sleep over it.

Isn't there also a difference between Presidential Reserve and just Presidential? I see both terms being used somewhat interchangeably here but knowing what you actually have reserved matters.

I like to know the answer to this too!

It has to do with resort inventory, generally not rooms themselves, and your level of Wyndham timeshare ownership.

Presidential units can be rented by any Wyndham owner who wants to spend the extra timeshare points to book them.

Presidential Reserve units are a special pool of inventory only for Presidential Reserve owners.

I have read some reports that at some resorts the presidential resorts have some extra features, but have not read anything about that at WBC.

I have stayed in Presidential Units a few times, and they were nice, but I wouldn't pay extra to stay in one unless I needed to do a lot of laundry. They have a full-size washer and dryer.

But the location of Presidential units is different than Presidential Reserve. I understand that Presidential can be in any building, but Presidential Reserve is only Tower 6. So knowing what exactly was reserved may make a difference.

The 1, 2 and 3-bedroom Presidential (and Presidential Reserve units) are only in Tower 6. The presidentials start about midway up, around floor 7 or so. There are non-presidential units in Tower 6 as well.

There are four-bedroom presidential units in all the towers on the top floors.

I don't know if they have special presidential reserve four-bedroom units, (by special, a plaque or something that designates that) but if they do they would almost certainly be in Tower 6.

In the past, I have read reports that the perks for presidential reserve owners are just for them, not for their guests unless they are with them. I think your mileage may vary if you are expecting some special treatment.

Of course, if you rent a presidential unit you will get one, but will the unit have a plaque that says "presidential reserve on it?" Will you get the view the Presidential reserve owner requested? Maybe or maybe not.

You never know what you are going to get until you check in. In any event, all the Presidential rooms are great units and I certainly wouldn't hesitate booking one.
