he he - I did think of undressing him, but then I thought plopping him on the floor is so much easier!

Oh my goodness! I just read your entire ptr and it was fantastic! I think you plans sound great and you will have such a fun time. (I"m so jealous...lol)

And.....I love your matching outfits, pictures are going to look so cute with your color schemes....too cool.

I can't wait for more postings......woohoo.
It won't be long before my posting turns from a pre trip to a TRIP REPORT! :cool1:

Phew...you came back...I was starting to get a complex. I'd post and you'd disappear!:rotfl2: Wow, good planning. I love the matching outfits. On your checklist you mention printing off "Brad's list of magical pictures." What is that? Please share so I can have some magical pictures too! Your baby has gotten so big! He's super darling.
I was thinking the same thing! (that you'd post and life would get hectic and I couldn't get on the DIS)
Brad's list of magical pictures is from Brad's stitchkingdom site. Brad's list of magical Pictures

If you scroll about halfway down, you'll see it. I just selected it, print preview, and custom zoomed it to fit one page before printing - and unless you have a magnifying glass or REALLY good eyesite - make it fit on 2 pages :thumbsup2

And here is the location of the kidcot cheat sheet - so you can find all the Kidcot Stations - Kidcot cheat sheet

I LOVE hearing about how Jesus honors our reliance on him with blessings like that! I have a friend who needed to be on a very tight budget for awhile, and she kept a journal of all the ways God took care of both the financial needs and even some of the wants of her family when she relied on Him. I often ask her to share her stories with me. Congrats!:woohoo:

I love it when I hear or get to share how great Jesus is! I have one other to share that's not Disney related, but need to run Ephraim to the Doctors! (check up, not sick)

I love the matching outfits. I can't believe the baby is so big already. And what a cutie too.

How are you shipping the water and food. Are you buying at home and shipping it or having it delivered from garden grocer or staples? I am trying to figure out the best way to do it?

We still havn't told Ike and Mike about the trip either. I think our plan is to see how long it takes them to figure it out once we get to the airport.

We are buying at home and shipping it down. It was going to be cheaper that way. The only perishable thing we really wanted was hot dogs and buns for the campfire, but my cousin is coming out that day, so I'm going to ask him to pick up enough hot dogs and buns for us for dinner and we'll just store them for the day in the fridge. An 18x18x16 box is $30 to ship from UPS and ground delivery will get it there in one week, so I'm shipping mine out Tuesday. I was going to go with Garden Grocer, but some of the prices of things we need like soymilk are CRAZY! $8 for a pack of soymilk is insane. It costs $4.47 at my Wegmans here. And Hebrew NAtional hotdogs (my favorite!) are $5 a pack! I'm not entirely sure what they are at WEgmans, but they are not $5 a pack! So we're going to send down wipies, diapers, water, PBand J (I'm going to buy store bought bread because I think it will last longer with all the nasty chemicals in it - I usually bake my own.) So for us, I think this is the best way to go.

:yay: You've made it! You didn't tell the kids. And I thought you just really liked the candy Ike and Mike, didn't realize it was your Kids! I can't remember, how old are your kids again? And have you traveled to Disney before? When they arrive at the airport, will they know where they are headed? My kids would know we are headed to Florida, but they would assume Sanibel. And I want to make sure I get their reactions on tape! (or memory card really)

Been a while since I have chatted with you.
Our trips are VERY close.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
If by some chance we bump into each other at the parks make sure you stop me and say hello.:thumbsup2
I'll do the same.
Have a FANTASTIC and BLESSED time on this magical vacation.

Not that i remember it, but in 2000 my family went to Disney World in Septmember and my mom said most all the rides were walk ons, and when I was there three weeks ago there was this little Pooh Bear Playground area right across from the attraction, that was just another time I wished I was five years old!

I hope you have a fun trip
Always Princess Grace

p.s. your kids are sooooo cute

Ike and Mike refers to my kids, they are 6 year old twins. So ever since they were born I called them that. Although I guess it should be Ikette and Mike:rotfl:

I agree with you with the garden grocer prices. I'm not sure what we will do about provisions. It might be cheaper for me to take a cab over to walmart or goodings to get everything.

I think the kids will figure out where we are going once we get to the airport. This is their third trip in three years. But I can't wait to see their reaction.

Oh Shmu!! You came back! I know! I've 8 days left and you've only 5 days!!! (Nathaniel's grammer lessons are rubbing off on me - I normally throw in "got" in there! Not proper English:rolleyes2 ) Say hello if you see me! My itinerary is set in stone now so

You can't remember the trip from when you were 5? Oh that's kinda sad. I was hoping NAthaniel would remember when he was older.....but he still remembers his trip from Sesame place...so maybe he will.

Ike and Mike refers to my kids, they are 6 year old twins. So ever since they were born I called them that. Although I guess it should be Ikette and Mike:rotfl:

6 Year old TWINS!! :scared1: GOD BLESS YOU! Twins have always been the nightmare when I'm pregnant. How in the world did you manage when they were newborns???

I figured Ike and Mike were nicknames - but didn't want to say that just in case you really DID name them Ike and Mike! Afterall, I did want to name my son NAthaniel Daniel for a time! And the avitar is so tiny, I couldn't tell if the girl on the left was a girl in pigtails, or a boy with a mullet. (I promise in a bigger picture I can tell the difference!)

I almost blew it the other day! We were shopping for sunglasses, and Nathnaiel picks out a great pair. Ken pulls me aside and tells me to make sure that the kids know that they can't wear there glasses until their birthdays. Nathaniel mentions that he wants to wear them as soon as he gets home. I tell him "Papa said No, because we need them for your birthdays." Nathaniel looks at me and asks "Where are we going???" I could not even remotely contol the smile that sprawled across my face and the giggling!!! Ken sprang into action, gave me a swift kick in the butt (literally), grabbed NAthaniel's attention so that I could wander over to another isle and regain my composure. Thankfully Ken was there because I really would have spilled the beans if Nathaniel had continued to question me!

And I don't think I told you, but right before we left for Long Island, I almost deliberatly told NAthaniel. We were in and out of the hospital with him for what they thought at first was bacterial meningitis. When the doctors started talking spinal tap, and I saw NAthaniel's face trying to be so brave but obviously so scared, I wanted to be like "It's ok! We can get through the spinal tap sweetie! We're taking you to Disney! Just think about that!!!" But my baby is so big and brave. I'm sitting in the room all nervous, and he takes my hand, pats my arm and says "Don't worry Mama. I'll be ok. I know you get so nervous when your children get sick." How did he get to be so big? Anyway - turns out it was VIRAL meningitis, not bacterial. As the doctor put it on day 4 of not being able to move his head and neck "Well, it's not bacterial meningitis because....well...he'd be dead!" Did you know bacterial meningitis can kill you in 24 hours?!!? I did not know that!

A BOY WITH A MULLETT:rotfl: I'll have to tell Alayna that one, she'll really appriciate it. How did we handle having newborn twins. We found out what complete sleep deprivation is and survived. The government wants our secret.:rotfl2:

I am so sorry to hear that your son was so ill. I pray he has recovered completly. Poor little guy.

Your itinerary looks great. I hope that you and your family have a wonderful time.

Don't tell her if it will hurt her feelings! I don't want her complaining to Cinderella - "you see that woman over there? She thought I was a boy with a mullet!!" Cinderella might get Prince Charming to go repremand me or something!;)

And NAthaniel is fine now. (as you can see in the pictures!) Full movement of his head and neck. IT was quite the wicked virus, but once we were certain it wasn't bacterial meningitis, I calmed down. It took about a week for him to recover. Right now Ephraims running a fever and I'm not sure why. I'm going to wait it out a day or so and see what happens. Then he goes to the DR. because we will not have sick kids in Disney (oh please oh please oh please no sick kids in Disney Jesus!!! You got rid of Josephine, please get rid of germs!)

Healthy thoughts, healthy thoughts, healthy prayers, healthy prayers...:worship:

So glad Nathaniel is ok. You poor mama. There's no worse feeling than being completely helpless when your kids are so sick. Hope Ephraim gets better quickly.

Healthy thoughts coming your way from here too. Hopefully everyone will be fever free for the vacation.

When are you telling the kids?

Hey everyone - we are not fever free yet - they think it might be Rosiolla with an ear infection. So antibiotics and lots of motrin and tylonol. I'm sure we'll be fever free in time (I HOPE we're fever free in time) We have a recheck tommorow morning, so we'll see what the Dr. says.

So I've been printing off autograph pages today and Passports. Ken is bringing them with him to the office so he can use the papercutter. And then Saturday, we are heading up to Staples to have the passports bound. They came out GREAT! I used Natalie's Disign (Donatalie) and I printed them as 5x7's I can't wait to see them bound. I just need to finish with my touring plans and then I think I'm finished with things I need to print - with the exception of the Tshirt transfer paper.

We tell them on the 15th - Monday! That's REALLY close! In fact it's in 4 days - but that only igves me 3 days to finish everything. We'll be telling them in the morning, and then we'll be having breakfast, and during breakfast, we should be recieving a call from Mickey and Cinderella! The kids will flip!

Oh, I forgot to share this. Nathaniel figured out his birthday present....or so he thinks. We were buying sunglasses and I mis spoke, so I said "you can't have these now. They are for your birthday" I was supposed to say "You can't have these UNTIL your birthday." Nathaniel eyes got wide and he asked "Why? Where are we going?" :upsidedow I crack a HUGE smile and Ken proceedes to kick me and distract Nathaniel so I can run to the next isle and compose myself. Then at home, Nathaniel catches me packing his bathing suit and the sunscreen and swimmies. So he comes up to me later that night to let me know the news. He has figured out where we are going for his birthday. "What makes you think we're going anywhere?" I ask. "I just know" says my too smart for his own good son. "And I know where we are going too......TO THE BEACH!!!!"   I can't help but to start giggling outloud. I am giddy with anticipation as it is, and then he springs this on me!!! He took my giggling to mean that he is correct. So I've unintentially completly thrown him off track!! Even with ALL the disney stuff around here, me on the Dis and TGM constantly, asking him questions about Disney, he still has no inkling of a clue. In his wildest dreams, he doesn't even think this is a possibility. :yay: I cannot wait to tell them! And I'll have the video up before I leave! I promise!

I love that you have been able to keep such a secret! and now him thinking it is the beach! :lmao: Beach on steriods maybe!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you! I hope the fever is long gone and you have a perfect trip!!

Right now I am sitting down and nursing sir Ephraim to sleep and getting antsy that I have much to do and a tired uncooperative boy! we're heading up to staples to bind the passports, autograph pages are complete, I just need to continue modge podging the clip boards and then those will be complete, hubbys doing laundry, we're 1/2 way packed. It won;t be long before we head to the beach....I mean DISNEY!! In 48 hours we will hopefully be in the car on our way to buffalo! 72 hours and we will hopefully be on a boat on our way to MK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bbaby is asleep now! Gotta go get ready!

I homeschool the kids and love it BUT it sure would be a whole lot easier to get ready if they were in SCHOOL!

And we disctracted the kids the otherday by having a hoedown in my living room. The played their instruments and danced, I packed!

31 hours until we tell the kids!!:thumbsup2

You have been one crafty lady! Great job on everything. Did Nathaniel ask any questions about the Mickey heads on his "birthday" countdown? I can't believe how close you are!!! Good luck finishing everything. Can't wait to hear how the reveal goes. Are you going to do a trip report?

I know! I'm so close! I've almost made it! At this time tommorow, we will be waiting for Mickey to call, and the kids will already know! :goodvibes

My son never questioned the Mickey heads. They were free, and I'm always swiping free stuff to use with crafts, so it wasn't really anything out of the ordinary. We are using the Mickey heads for the "Guess where we are going tomorrow?"

And yes, I'll be doing a trip report!

And last night when Ken and I were showering and talking about how excited we were about the trip I mentioned "when we go back in 2011". Would you like to know what my originally "I'm going for the kids, but this is not my idea of a vacation" husband said??? I THINK 3 YEARS MAY BE TOO LONG TO WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!! We also realized that the amount we spent on this trip( a whole lot!) is less than the amount we paid out to credit card debt last year.( a whole lot more!!!) :yay:

Oh, and did I tell you guys that they won't know about cirque or any of the character meals? So there will be surprises throughout the trip! They will get a letter the day before asking them to the meal from the character. I just keep the surprises roll.
