My DD couldn't get enough of the carousel either. She loved it and called out "horses" every time she saw the one in DL or DCA. Unfortunately, with having big brothers along, she didn't get to ride it as many times! We had the same experience - she would cry when it was time to get off! I tried every trick in the book - "wave bye-bye to the horses!", warning her it was ending, distracting her about something else fun... she just wanted to stay on that carousel!
I never had to try out the gondolas because I missed that day at the park (long story -it is in my TR if you are interested). DH and my 7 year old went on the non-swinging gondola, and he says he must be getting old because it was all he could do to remain calm so DS wouldn't freak out! Something about being up so high, I guess. Both of them LOVED Screamin' though!
Indiana Jones was the only ride that either DH or I rode without kids. My 7 year old was tall enough and rode it with my while DH waited with the little ones (it was our first day, and we weren't brave enough to separate yet). DS developed a love of coasters on this trip, but the story terrified him on this ride and he wouldn't go again with DH. This is the same kid who LOVED Screamin'! I told DH to ride alone anyhow, because it was worth seeing! If comparing it to Dinosaur in WDW, do you think that would be much too scary for my kid if Indiana Jones was too scary? I think you said Dinosaur was MORE scary?
I'm glad you got to see WoC. I am anxious to see your next report to see what we missed.
