The Wave or Liberty Tree Tavern for MVMCP?

We are attending MVMCP and need to know if we should have a 5:30pm dinner at The Wave or a 7:55pm dinner at LLT. I know my son would like the characters at LTT, but I'm worried that eating there will take too much time away from the party. Please let me know your thoughts. Has anyone eaten at both?

I would probably do the reservation at The Wave vs LTT simply because of the time difference. I have eaten at LTT and I like it, have not eaten at The Wave because I haven't been to Disney since it opened and even if I had, the menu does not appeal to me. Check out the menus of both, but ultimately I recommend the earlier reservation.

I also would stick with the earlier reservation. That way you don't have to be at your meal right in the middle of the party.

I would go to the Wave for the 5:30 res. I have not eaten here but I think you would miss to much by going to LTT that late.

Definitely dine BEFORE the MVMCP!!! You paid extra for the party. You will miss too much dining at LTT during the party. My DW and I had dinner at the Wave in June. It was very good and I am certain it will be better than at LTT. Then you can walk or take the monorail over to the MK.
