The Walking Dead on AMC

I hate when I can't watch Sundays! I avoid this thread like the plague until I watched. I have several things to say about last nights, but I guess I will wait a few days to mention them.

Me too....drives me insane. LOL And I guess it is unreasonable to ask that no one talk about it until after we can all watch it....lol It's not like FB (which I also avoid to not see spoilers lol) that just shows up on your newsfeed.....lol I'm a dork. hahaha :)

I was also trying to figure out the groups. I don't think the group Daryl was with at the end of the episode is the group that was in the house when Rick was hiding under the bed.

I think maybe the group that took Beth is the group that was in the house when Rick was under the bed? Not sure.

Not sure which of those groups are the you-know-what's.

I agree Daryl got lazy last night flinging the door open, but he heard the dog bark and assumed it was the dog again. I thought the walkers were chasing the dog.

I saw them through the slats and started yelling not to open the door....lol

:scared1: That was the scariest part of last night's episide. How can there only be 3 left!!!!

I just avoid the thread if I haven't had a chance to watch the episode yet. In fact, I have to avoid facebook completely on Sunday evenings because I'm on the west coast and my friends always post comments, etc. :lmao:

I figure once an episode has aired it is fair game for the thread. :thumbsup2

I was really wondering about the look that Daryl gave Beth. I really didn't think they would go down that road. But the look of "ohhhh" that Beth gave right before the walkers came to the door had me wondering too. Like she was just catching on to what he was hinting at.

I'm so ready for some of the groups to meet back up too. I don't like all the separate stories.

I got the feeling that whoever put all the food in the cabinets had set it as a trap. But I'm not sure that is the same group as the ones Daryl came across.

Daryl's actions were so off last night. He really let his guard down. My DH was yelling at the TV when Beth was playing the piano too :lmao:

I'm thinking it is a different group. The white cross on the back of the car has me wondering if they could be with the other group (that Glenn met up with) and they actually saved her from the walkers. But I can't imagine her letting them leave without Daryl so that is probably wishful thinking. Plus that would be too easy :rotfl:

:thumbsup2

I don't like the idea of Terminus. I get a very bad feeling about it. The only good thing about it is that the group should be reunited there...at least for a minute!

As for who took Beth, I may be wrong on this, but I thought I read on one of TWD messageboards(I don't read the comics) that there is a priest or some religious man that is in the comics. I am thinking that this may be who now has her, guessing from what looked like the giant cross in the car window. I definitely don't believe it is the group that picked up Daryl. I am of the belief that the house was a giant trap and I am, once again, amazed at how OOC Daryl was in this episode. The mistakes he made are just not realistic for him no matter how many of his walls are starting to crumble. He wouldn't let his guard down when it comes to their safety.

The other thing was when Beth was playing the piano, I was like "Why are you letting her play the piano, you might as well invite the walkers in! Nothing like announcing your location!"

All I was thinking was 'make it stop. I'm sick of Beth singing.' I really do not like Beth and Carl lol.

Here's a sneak preview that I haven't seen before for the next episode.

I wonder who's on the tracks? A walker or a person?

And why is Carol crying (from the tv preview) in the next episode? Only thing I can think of would be one of the 3 kids dying. I have a feeling this is going to be an intense episode :scared:

I'm with you about Carl, but Beth has grown on me. I hate that she and Daryl are separated now, because I liked the way he was softening and warming up to her. That said, I'm really sick of the bits and pieces we've been getting in this half of the season. Yes, it's nice that there's been more character development and some back stories, but it's taking way too long for the plot to develop. Now there are just a few episodes left in the season, and then they'll leave us with a cliff hanger until next October. I can't take it I tell ya!!!

Good question, seems like a lot of intense staring if it's just a walker. And why would you get up and walk all the way down there to kill one walker, why not just wait for it to get closer? But if it's human, no clue who it is.

I think Carol was crying from something to do with one of the two girls. Perhaps the Lizzie thing finally comes out in the midst of chaos?

Did you guys see the preview scene on The Talking Dead??? We were like WTH?????

Could it be Glenn? He was walking on the tracks alone and seeing Maggie's messages. Or maybe it's Morgan....Definitely looked like a guy.

Yep, looked like a guy. I know we saw Glenn alone, but I'm sure he's not. Everyone he was with turned around and went with him. Looked too tall to be Morgan. Very curious.

In the past when she'd sing, I thought it was annoying. But I liked the piano accompaniment and I thought the song was nice. I actually enjoyed it. But I was also wondering why the heck she was playing the piano in that scenario.

I actually like Beth now. I didn't like her in season 2 when she was trying to kill herself, but she grew on me at the prison when she was taking care of Judith.

I'm not a fan of Carl. His cockiness and attitude make me mad. Must have too much Lori in him. But I actually start to like him when he's paired with Michonne.

I was thinking it was Glenn on the tracks.

I think Carol was crying because she has to sacrifice one of the kids for some reason. It was either Lizzie or Mica, but they were on the ground in the preview screaming "Carol!" while being dragged away by a walker.

I'm the complete opposite. I liked Beth initially and kept hoping they would give her more of a story. I guess I should be careful what I ask for next time!

With Carl, he was an annoying little brat to begin with, but I see him growing up, trying to take responsibility, and the attitude would be typical of any teenager to begin with, but throw in having to put down your mother(even if it is Lori!) and witness countless friends and family die and you are going to have a teenager with a huge chip on his shoulder. To make matters worse, not only is his mother gone, but Daddy took the first class ride to crazy town...and still hasn't really returned. Thank goodness he has Michonne to lean on!

I hadn't seen that yet. Thank You! :) I think it's a person, it was walking too straight to be a walker, it wasn't dragging anything or wandering. lol

I did see that preview and we looked at each other and said "WTH?" LOL Glad to know it wasn't just us. lol I could see approaching it if it is a person because they have kids, they want to be cautious about who approaches them.

Could it be Glenn? He was walking on the tracks alone and seeing Maggie's messages. Or maybe it's Morgan....Definitely looked like a guy.

I don't think it was Glenn, although it could have been because it's possible that the rest of his small group was around the corner and he's running point out front. I guess we will see on Sunday.

I think she has to make a hard choice as well, I hope she's able to save Mica over Lizzie but honestly Judith over both of them. That's a terrible thing to say and I don't like seeing the kids as walkers or being eaten or anything but I'd rather have Judith survive.

I like Beth and Carl.....yes Carl was being a PITA but I think the last few episodes have shown him some harsh realities and he's starting to grow up and realize that he can't do this on his own at all. And Beth is becoming a more integral character, I hope that she is OK wherever she is.....as a young pretty girl she would be in danger, a lot of danger. And Daryl, please do not let Daryl get stuck with this group of bad people.

And PLEASE let there be more than 3 episodes left......this is so going to suck! LOL

Morgan? Aren't we supposed to see him again this season? Or maybe Daryl, fresh off whatever *** whooping he's about to hand his new friends?

I don't think it was a walker. The gait was more "trudging human" than "shambling corpse" and I don't think a lone walker would have gotten Tyreese to approach that way. A human he might want to deal with out of sight/earshot of the girls. A walker he'd dispatch at closer range rather than leaving the kids unprotected, just in case there were others nearby.

It looks like Carol could be carrying Judith in that trailer at the beginning. Then the girl screams, No Carol!! The next scene carol is no longer carrying that strapped on backpack.

Judith is in the other promo with Tyrese, and the person on the tracks, so I must assume that one of them is wearing her. They look pretty calm in the scene where they are all on the tracks, and I think they would look a little more tense and upset if a baby just died.

At least we can assume Carol lives, since she is on the Talking Dead this week!
