The Walking Dead on AMC

I didn't even realize that Tyrese's sister was the same actress in Once Upon a Time. I kept thinking she looked familiar, but couldn't place her.

Exact same thing here. The hair threw me off. I like her - I'm hoping that it's a short appearance on Once Upon a Time and it's not because she's killed off. Wishful thinking probably.

I bought a "Daryl dies and we riot" t-shirt today :-)

:thumbsup2 That's been my Facebook pic since the midseason cliffhanger. I guess I'll have to come up with something else on Monday.

Having the season finale of TWD and the season premiere of Game of Thrones on the same night may be more drama than I can handle.

Nothing says Happy Easter like a good zombie Massacre!

I still think Andrea is a goner. They have built her up so much this season and I imagine that's a tactic to get us to either feel sad/shocked at her loss. And I agree - there's something about the Maggie/Glenn/Hershel story that's about to have a tragic ending. It's way too perfect in this imperfect place. Longer shots are Michonne and Daryl - possible, but I sure hope not.

And Milton. He's pretty much been wearing a red shirt all season. :)

As far as the rest, I think the Gov is a sure thing. I don't know about Judith - I think she'll be OK. I think that's going too far - killing adults is one thing but it's far too horrible to think about a baby...

I get the feeling that there's gonna be some Captain Kirk tactics in tonight's show, just based on the clip they showed last week on TWD.

I am both dreading and looking forward to tonight.

Andrea is definitely a goner, but frankly I won't really miss her. She had so many opportunities to leave Woodbury, so many opportunities to kill the Governor, but she wouldn't do it any of those times. There was so much evidence shoved under her nose that she just ignored. Obviously I don't like it when any character dies, but Andrea hasn't done anything useful for a while.

I also think either Glenn or Maggie will die in the season finale. It's too good an opportunity for the writers to pass up, especially given their engagement and Glenn's speech about how they may not last the week, but he wants her to know he loves her anyway. I love them both, though, so if one of them dies it will break my heart! :( I just really need Daryl to live. Please, writers, that's all I want!!

I don't get the Andrea hate (or the Lori hate). It's easy for us watching to shout at the screen because we are seeing everything. Every awful move the Governor makes, but Andrea isn't around to see/hear it. She can only go by her gut, heresay etc. It must be hard to imagine anyone being as heinous as the Governor, and he always has a good poker face and a buyable explanation...like a bad boyfriend. I think Andrea is trying to do the best she can within her own limitations. She WANTS to be tough (like Shane) but she just can't quite get there.

The character I wanted dead? DALE. I couldn't take anymore of his whining and lecturing.

My issue with Andrea really involves Michonne. Michonne saved her life, they stayed together all winter and then Andrea turned on her pretty fast (thanks to the Gov's charm). I would think Andrea would trust Michonne's instincts after all she had done for her. But a man comes along and Andrea's loyalty slipped pretty fast. Otherwise, I've appreciated her strength and edge.

The only character that I wanted gone was Merle - seriously sick dude. I like all the rest (I can't bring myself to dislike Carl, but it's hard not to sometimes....). Of course, The Gov has got to go, but that's expected.

I think Tyrese (or however you spell it) will step up and take a bigger role next season. He's strong, he has a moral code - all the ingredients of a leader.

Have any of you read any of The Walking Dead comics? In the comics, this seige by the governor is when Lori was killed while holding Judith. Both of them were shot and killed. I have a suspicion that Judith will be killed while Beth is holding her. I can't see them keeping the baby story going, and Beth truly offers nothing to the show.
I think either Maggie or Glenn will go too. Writers are evil that way. Kill them while they are happy.
I think Herschel will die because he slows the group down and won't really be able to run well on that one legg.
Finally, I think Andrea will live and she will ultimately be the one to kill the Governor. If she dies, it could be while killing him also.
So interested to see if any of these predictions turn out!

DH has been reading TWD for years because he was friends with Robert Kirkman when he first started writing the series (Way before he was famous!). He told me about Laurie/Judith's fate and he thinks the baby will go, too. I just think AMC won't agree - Kirkman's books are very dark but the series has stayed just slightly on the safer side. And after they pulled the marathon after the shootings in CT, I'd be very surprised if it took this kind of turn. And they didn't follow the same Governor/Michonne story line - TV just couldn't handle it.

I hope I'm right. I hate violence toward children/animals in movies and TV shows. That's why I still haven't seen the end of the first ep. DH warned me and because of that scene I despised the series early on. Kirkman was trying to show the destruction of all innocence and prove that nothing is sacred so I've sucked it up to be able to enjoy the human story behind it all.

I don't think they'll kill the baby, at least not in anything like the way it was done in the comics. That's quite simply not TV friendly, and given how far gone Rick is this season I'm not sure they can really push him any further.

I agree that Beth is sort of a non-character but I think she'll be necessary for Carl's character development down the line. And depending on what happens to the group this week I suspect we'll start seeing more of her next season.

I share your feeling about Maggie/Glenn/Herschel - we're going to lose one or more of them. The emotional set-up last week, bringing them to the forefront of an episode that really didn't need any of them at all, tells me that at least one of them is doomed. I hope it isn't Herschel; he brings the same reminder of humanity to the group that Dale did, but in a more pragmatic and less preachy tone. I think without him the group skews too much toward shell-shocked aggression, but Beth might step into that role if he was gone.

As far as Andrea goes... I dislike her too much to even hazard a guess. I don't think she has what it takes to kill the Governor unless it is done in a moment of defending one of her old group. I wouldn't mind seeing her go and can't imagine she'll be able to reintegrate with Rick's group after being in Woodbury so long, but Merle proved stranger things could happen so I just don't know.

I have to agree, I don't think they would cross the line of killing the baby. I know they push the envelope and everyone is fair game but I really think that would be too much, even for this show.

With all the speculation on who is going to be killed off - maybe the better question is who won't be :)

I was just watching last weeks episode of Talking Dead. After the preview for this weeks episode, all I want is a walking dead/home alone mash up!

Your comic hunch is not that far fetched. I feel like that would be the way the baby goes, with either Carol holding her or Beth, since both have not been the most active of characters. I'm hoping Herschel, Glenn and Maggie survive, but with Herschel's leg problem there's a slim chance of him making it out alright.

Yes ive read them all! :) That is EXACTLY my thought (posted it a few pages back)! I see it as Beth holding the baby. It's gonna be sad. 27 people die tonight!!!! I'm excited and nervous at the same time.
