Finally a villian I can enjoy watching. I enjoyed season 1 Shane, but season 2 went off the rails for him. The governor is going to be awesome. Still on team Rick but I am salivating for the showdown between the two and the reunion of Merle and Daryl.

I totally agree. I think the addition of the governor is going to be awesome. And I love that Merle is back.

i also am glad they veered from the comics in the governor's portrayal. If they had kept it with the comics, we would have someone like Danny Trejo as the governor. This actor presents a far more subtle, but sinister evil. My favorite villians are the wolves in sheep's clothing. The one's you think are nice, but in fact aren't. So far, a much better season than last year.

We loved the governor! This guy manages to be sinister and untrustworthy without even appearing to try. He should be fun.

I didn't like the look of this governor vs. the one in the comic/book - to me he looked more sleazy in the book than the one in the series.

I thought they were going to show something different in the governors room at the end of the show this week - maybe they will still show what else he hides... I liked how they showed the heads and stay true to the book on that as I thought that was a bit "funny" in the book

The governor was really really really evil in the book as well - he starts out initially coming off as nice but later you figure out he's jacked up. There is no way they are going to be able to show everything he did in the books in the series - I think they will ellude to it more than anything else.

It was him. I went back to check last night (I watch the episodes twice lol) and it was him. You could tell for sure by the bandaid on his right side of his head.

Yeah, it was him. DS saw it immediately but I wasn't sure until we watched The Talking Dead. They have an "In Memorium" at the end of the episode for all those who died in that day's TWD episode.
