Where can I go to watch season 1 episodes online? I just recently started watching this show last Sunday...was always to scared to watch but after watching I realized it wasn't that scary. But just don't ask me to go outside after dark for anything...LOL

You can stream the entire first season on Netflix! :) I'd like to go back and rewatch these myself.

You know you've been watching this show too much/taking it too seriously when...

DH and I went to look at a house on 80 acres and it had a beautiful running river that kind of swept around two sides of the house. I looked at it, looked at DH, and said, "Can Zombies swim or just wade? If they can't swim, we could divert this river the rest of the way around the house and be safe!"

Of course I'm the person who still doesn't understand:
1)where all the dogs went to (couldn't they outrun a zombie?)
2)how the people on the farm are going to keep the horses, since they keep them locked in the stalls, and only have so much hay

Overthinking, I know!

Terri

Zombies cannot swim, but, since they don't need oxygen, they can still get through water. If they sink, they'll just walk or crawl along the bottom. If they're floating, they'll just survive until the current washes them up somewhere.

So are fish contaminated? If they eat on the zombies , do fish become zombies?

my DD16 asked if its possible that Sofia went to the barn. As a way to find shelter. And she was attacked not knowing walkers were inside. The bite was on her upper neck, as if she was grabbed from behind. Glen was able to get inside the barn, is it possible that no one placed her in the barn, did she go in on her own?

I think if she had gone in on her own the zombies would have feasted on her. She wouldn't have been in anywhere near that good a condition.

I thought that might have been the case at first too, but on the Talking Dead recap show afterwards and in the preview clip for the next episode, they explain that Otis had been in charge of the walkers in the barn and he was the one who put them all in there. He was killed before he knew she was part of their group. So no one else knew about it.

Agreed. :thumbsup2 Watch the webisode and see "bike girl" get swarmed. Same with Otis. No way in that barn that only one would bite her neck and that's it. She would have been way more torn up if she'd snuck into that barn.

We still have the question of how do they get the zombies they find wandering in the woods into the barn without letting the others out?

This is so funny - I would totally be laughing at you but I know exactly how you feel! One of our local colleges (UMD) even had a professor give a (not-so-tongue-in-cheek) presentation about how it theoretically could actually happen. :scared1:

Yeah thats what I thought too. Otis placed her in the barn before he died. Is rather ironic. Shane has been complaining about them looking for Sofia, thy wouldnt have been looking so long if he hadn't killed him. Otis would have told them a little girl was in the barn.

One way would be to have someone use the entrance that Glen did and distract them from the top of the barn allowing someone else to open the door and shove the walkers in without the others escaping. Of course, according to Herschel Otis did everything by himself so I'm not sure how he could do it without getting attacked or any of the others escaping.

Yes, but do you think Otis would have told them seeing as how the farm group was keeping the whole "walkers in the barn" thing a big secret? He may have figured out that the girl they were looking for was in the barn, but would he have went so far as to tell them? Did he know they were looking for her before he and Shane went to get the meds? I would assume he did, but I don't remember if they showed for sure that he did or not.

Ooh, you almost had an answer there! Too bad you had to throw logic and reason into the mix!

Less than 1 week away for the second half of this season!!!!

The trailers I have seen are quite action packed. Can't wait until Sunday night!

I have never been so addicted to a series like I am TWD. Got my DD hooked too:thumbsup2

I haven't seen any previews yet. I'll go see if they're up on the AMC website. Looking forward to the new episodes. I'm going to have to miss the second episode on the 19th as I'll be leaving on a cruise that day. Guess that's a sacrifice I'l have to make ;)

I'll just catch the rerun before the new episode on the 26th.

Oh I need to tell you guys.. I met Chandler Riggs (Carl) and Madison Lintz (Sophia) 2 weeks ago at New Orleans Comic Con. Those are the two most level headed and sweetest kids I've ever met. I really hope they are successful in whatever they do. I spent about 15 minutes talking with them and they waved each time I passed by. Loved them! And now just knowing how awesome they are makes me love this show on a whole new level!

I also "saw" Norman Reedus (Darryl) from afar. Couldn't get too close to him but I did snap a few pics anyway. If any one is interested, I have them up on my facebook page but I can see if I can figure out how to post them.
