The comic and show are two separate entities. With the exception of Shane's death, nothing has really been identical to the comics. Just because it happened in the comic (like the attempted rape on Carl) doesn't mean it'll happen in the show.

I hope the TV show does not turn to the rape of children, boys or girls, that's a line that would make it difficult for me to continue watching to be honest. I had a hard enough time watching Carol kill Lizzie.

I don't think they will (I pray they don't). Carl being threatened though might be enough to make Rick go off.

The reason it makes me laugh is because every time I hear these idiots yelling "claimed" I think of the seagulls in Finding Nemo. That is what they sound like to me. So, looking at the poster I am hearing that in my head. Not because I think rape is ever something to joke about or is funny in anyway. (I know you didn't say or imply anything like this, I just wanted to get that out there in case anyone took my laughter that way. )

When I first heard the rumblings about a potential rape situation with Carl, I have to admit I felt a little sick. I really don't want them to go there either.

I was also cracking up about the "claimed" thing because on TD, Chris Hardwick was talking about if Eugene was with Daryls group how annoying he would be pointing at everything going, "claimed, claimed, that's mine, claimed, your pants claimed, claimed, claimed........" I don't know why, but I get a kick out of Chris Hardwick.

My 19 year old got to play left for dead today with Norman. They "met" on a reedit subset group and somehow shared Steam names and his friends were floored when Daryl started cursing in their game!

My kidS lead much more interesting lives than I do.

It is pretty extreme for them to have a child raped or almost raped in the show. I wouldn't be surprised if they changed it to Michonne. I think Rick would still lose it b/c he knows how close Carl & her are & he will blame himself. Right now I see Rick feeling secure in knowing that if something happened to him, Carl would be safe with Michonne as she would look out for him.

I have heard people point out that the woman Michonne in the painting when her and Carl were scavenging for food in that house, is the same as the women who welcomed the group to Terminus. I wonder why people think that.

I have a very bad feeling about Terminus, and the show is always pushing boundaries, and I wouldn't put it past them to do something that will shock and horrify us. .

I can't wait to find out what happens, but I am dreading the wait in between seasons.
