The walking dead amc #2

I think Eugene is playing a game. It's a game for his life and he's used it before! It's how he got Abraham to protect him and get him almost to DC, he knows what to say and just enough science stuff to make it believable. Plus, his video game life helps too. I am quite sure he got the "preserving" the walkers method from a video game. Sounds like something a game would have in it.

I was hoping he would trust Dwight a teeny bit there at the end, I think Dwight was looking for a partner from Rick's group now that Darryl's gone, but from Eugene's perspective at this moment, there's no reason to.

I think Dwight set the Dr up because he was being negative of Sherry and this was his way of getting revenge for her and hurting the group all in one fell swoop. If he can't get Neegan yet, it's the next best thing. Without the Dr, they're weaker. I do think he was going to run away with her if he found her at the house. It's why he took the last cigarettes from the hiding place, IMO. Not planning on going back.

It was a slower/boring episode, but it served a purpose. And the "wives" were good. I bought that they wanted to help "off" the other wife right up til the truth came out.

Oh well! If I was on this thread for longer I'd ask a Mod to do it -- but I'll just :wave2:

Don't worry Ill probably do the same. I have before when it gets to be that when you say something you are told if you would have read the comics, watched talking dead, read some fan fiction and followed a couple people on twitter and Facebook then you'd KNOW what was going on and that you were wrong. I just came back because it was a good episode I wanted to quote.

I don't do any of the above. I have no interest in what has happened in the comics as they don't follow them closely 100% of the time. I think fan fiction is ridiculous - what happened to writing your own stories with your own characters and ideas. I follow Reedus on Twitter, he tells me NOTHING ;)

I also have zero cares about spoilers. I watch after you guys and know when I click on this thread I'm going to find out what happened in the episode. That's my choice.

The wives certainly were good, especially the redhead  I wouldn't have been able to create such a ruse with the redhead's hand on my knee, LOL

Why would you leave? If they use the spoiler button, you can't see what they wrote unless you click on it, so no harm no foul. People are really good about doing that. I don't want to know any spoilers either, so I just don't open them up. Correction, I did once, but only that one time.

Actually, if someone quotes the post that has the spoiler within the spoiler button, it will show up. Quote my post, and you'll see.

See, it will show if you quote the post.

Big dud of an episode. I do not like Michonne with Rick. They have her soft and girly and that's NOT Michonne. Blech. And, please, someone kill Rosita and or Tara.... tired of watching them. Will be irked if Tara gives up Oceanside. And I think maybe Rosita is leading poor Sasha to slaughter. Hope Rosita bites it and not Sasha... please please. And all the throwback scenes... stupid. Boring lazy writing. They are just dialing it in anymore.

I agree... I feel like lately, a lot of episodes are taking forever to get to the point and progress the story lines. Even the dialogue is minimal and predictable at times. The point of this episode was to have them find and bring guns to Jadis & Co., for Tara to give up Oceanside, and for Sasha and Rosita to come together in a plan. All of that happened in the last 10-15 minutes of the episode. I realize Rick & Michonne, Rosita pouting, and Tara lamenting to Judith was all character building but sometimes I'm just like okkkk I get it! lol! And then I had to roll my eyes for next week when I saw it was going to be all Carol/Morgan/The Kingdom. It looks hopeful for seeing some progression with Carol, but I hate the back and forth between all the story lines.

I found myself drifting during the episode. I was playing on the computer etc. I usually NEVER do that during WD. I was a little bored with Rick and Michonne. I don't really like them together for some reason. I guess I just don't see her as the girly girl in love with a boyfriend. I see her as a strong warrior, protector, leader etc. Not to say strong women can't have boyfriends, but it just does not set right with me for Michonnes character.

The episode just felt like the same thing over and over, go looting, have sexy time, talk. The episode just felt "off" to me. I don't mind a slower episode and I am probably the only person on earth who actually like the "cheese maker" episode with Morgan, but this one just felt like "meh" to me.

I am really not liking Rosita at all. So sick of her angry girl act. I think they are setting up to kill off either Sasha or Rosita. Could be either one. It has been widely reported that the actress who plays Sasha has been cast in the new Star Trek so many think she will be killed off. The actress who plays Rosita just announced she is pregnant so maybe she will want to leave to raise her baby. Who knows, it's anyones guess at this point.

I found the episode was kind of dull

But still worth watching as next week I assume the real action will begin

so in the comic, Abraham's love that he ditched Rosita for (it was not Sasha in comic but some other chick)... she gets caught by the Saviors and Negan kills her, ties her up and puts bag on her head and says he's returning her. He throws her at Rick's group who pulls bag off to discover she is a walker. I am guessing this happens to Sasha. But Rosita's time is limited too, based on comics, and that's all I will say about that... as we see this in the very last comic written. I think show is slowing because they are catching up to last comic very fast and the writer needs to get to writing... just like GoT.

Not what I was expecting. Okay I guess. The fake deer was very fake, are they on budget restraints or something.

The sooner those loons at the dump get dumped the better. They are ridiculous.

And who were the people playing golf? Some of Neegan's crew?

Agree these last few episodes have been kind of dull, but it looks like next week it starts to heat up.

Definitely not the most exciting episode. I was laughing at Rick and Michonne sleeping in the warehouse with the MREs. Who in their right mind would sleep clothesless in the zombie apocalypse?? You need to be ready to hop up and run at a moments notice!

Yes. You hear the one guy saying "If I hear another word about fat Jerry"....the one that Darryl killed on his way out with Jesus.

Who in their right mind would sleep clothesless in the zombie apocalypse??
Them. Don't you remember when Jesus let himself into their house and woke them up in the buff?

It was an ok episode. I didn't hate it. I liked the homages to past episodes (a school, falling through a roof, Glenn under the dumpster etc...).

I DO dislike this Rosita. Sheesh...get a grip girl. But no, run off and ruin everything because you can't see past your own nose. I think Sasha at a minimum is done.

I don't know what Tara is going to do, and if she does tell Rick about Oceanside, I don't know what he will do with the information. I know he wants guns, but I think he got a wake-up call with what happens when you turn to the dark side (taking out the Savior outpost). Not 100% sure he'd go and force the Oceanside community to help or just steal their weapons.

SO I dozed while watching and dh didn't realize it and deleted the episode from the DVR. What happened with the dumpster people? Did they bring them guns in this episode? Or did I dream of them seeing them? Thanks!
