The walking dead amc #2

I have really enjoyed this season. I like the concept of the entire season, or half-season, focusing on the events of one day. Especially if it revolves around a major event in the lives of the characters. It sort of reminds me of how (when major events happen in the real world) everyone wants to share exactly what they were doing/where they were when 'the event' happened. And I enjoy seeing some of the lesser characters in more depth like Sasha, Abraham, Morgan. I feel like you can't always keep them as background to the major players without short-changing the show.

My first thought when I heard "Help" was that it was Glenn. When I listened again, I felt like it sounded more like Rick. But, if I've got the timing straight, Rick should be safe in Alexandria at this point??? So, I'm just not sure. I didn't even consider that the couple who stole Daryl's bike/crossbow, also took his walkie, so I guess they are a possibility also. Looking forward to next week. :)

I'm enjoying this season as well. I hated when they were all separated after the attack on the prison, but it's not bothering me w/ this season. Maybe because they are "together" just doing their own thing on this particular day. It is nice to see the character development. If it was all crazy Rick all the time, I don't think it would be sustainable.

Although I though the Sasha & Abraham thing was strange; I just don't see them together at all.

Watch the sneak peek for next week. There is a person shown from behind walking toward the gate. He is dressed just like Glenn was when he was on the dumpster-black jeans and a light brown shirt. I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere. Of course, it could be anyone but it really made me pause.

Rosita has hardly been in the show at all. When they do show her, she is just in the background or just says a word or two. Her big screen time seemed to be when her and Abraham were going at it in the library with Eugene watching.

I think they will kill her off soon.

I was thinking about this too. I believe Abe, Sasha and Darryl are on their way home the day after they were leading the zombies away and the Wolves attacked ASZ. We know this because one scene showed the sun rising over the building Abe and Sasha were holed up in. In the episode before last, we see Rick running home to ASZ in the daylight with the walkers behind him. So, I think he actually made it home same day. By the end of Rick's episode, it was night time. So to me, that rules out Rick being on the walkie. I think it was Glenn or Nicholas, and it could possibly be the people who stole the Darryl's stuff
because those people are Tina and Dwight from the comics who we will likely see again, if the show plays out the same way it did in the comics.

My thoughts on last night...

First of all, the crossbow and bike were a small price to pay to have a whole episode of Daryl running around in just his vest again. That man is yummy.

I really don't like Abraham and Sasha. That was just awkward and a little creepy, IMO. The Talking Dead bit about that was hilarious, though, trying to decide what the worst part of Abraham as a love interest would be... the mustache or the package deal with Eugene the voyeur. :rotfl:

I do think it was Glenn on the walkie. Whether he'll survive long enough to get back to Alexandria is another question, but I don't think his storyline is over just yet.

I do like the way they're doing this season. If they tried to touch on every storyline in every episode it would be too broken up and lose its suspense/drama, so even though it is frustrating to have loose ends left hanging for weeks before the show gets back around to the relevant set of characters I think it is the best way to handle so much action happening in so many places at roughly the same time.

Norman has said it is definitely not Glenn on the other end of the walkie-talkie.

Think I finally figured this out on the spoiler posting front. Third times the charm...at least I hope :)

I read the same thing. But can he be trusted not to lie to us??

Ok, got to watch it finally, but haven't seen TTD yet.

Sasha and Abraham??? Yuck and no. And also, as someone said, what about Rosita? Now she's "stuff" and just another chick in the line??

I do think it was Glenn on the Walkie.

WHY did the they take Daryl's stuff and go back to where they were just trying to get away from??? Makes NO sense to me!!! You're leaving a place you hate/are afraid of, someone offers you a better place, and you run back to the bad place???

Q. What was on the door or plate or whatever was on the ground by the helmetted walker that Daryl wiped off? Seemed to pint him right to the truck, but I didn't read it and DH has the tv now, so I can't re-watch! LOL! I also missed that the license plate said Patty. Will have to re-watch!

Even though I hope it is Glenn on the walkie talkie, it didn't sound like him :(

I was hoping it was him and he sounded different because he had to whisper to avoid attracting attention from the walkers surrounding the dumpster. But my predictions on what is going to happen on this show have never been right so far, so I'm sure it isn't right now :rotfl2:

Really? That's the first thing my DH said. "It's Glenn!".

For the one who said it might be Nicholas, going by the timeline presented by PP's, he'd be walker-chow by then.

Probably the blonde guy who stole Darryl's stuff. I'll rewatch and see who it sounds like. But someone mentioned it sounded like Rick and this blonde guy kinda sounds like Rick. I thought it was Glenn when I heard it (and I couldn't make out what was said but I immediately thought "Glenn!!!!").

Here's my thoughts: I think Glenn is alive but then dies as soon as he gets back to Maggie. I think Abraham dies soon too. Like a 1...2 punch in the gut!!!

Pray for me! I'm about to try this spoiler button thingy.....

Not Glenn. Possibly Jesus, who has found an injured Glenn?

Last nights episode was fantastic, and this season is emerging as my favorite!

On the downside, the stress from last night aged me a few years! Lol!!!

That was something my daughter thought of, because we have read the comics and have been looking forward to that particular set of storylines coming to the show. I think that would be the next best thing to it being Glenn. But I still think it was Glenn. They can't leave his story in limbo forever (or even going into the mid-season break, IMO).
