I know they had this conversation. What I meant is that Gareth didn't say anything about them recognizing Bob or already knowing each other during the trough scene. So they most likely didn't know each other b4 & when Gareth was talking to him at the BobBQ, Gareth was referencing Rick's group, not an earlier confrontation. Do you get what I am trying to say now?

I don't know... I do think that Gareth and Bob knew each other "before." We know Bob had been a member of more than one group and that one way or another, something didn't work out there. There was something TOO familiar about the way Gareth spoke to Bob.

I also think that Bob was bitten and he was going to go away to die. It broke my heart when he was crying... and then that happened. Ugh, I didn't like this episode.

I do wish I knew why Carol was running away.

I'm definitely wrong about it being a slash from the sword. The mark shows on the tree as Bob walked to it. We just watched it again. It's definitely something that is significant though.

Dale survived pretty long into the comic storyline. He was bitten on the leg & decided to wander off to die. He's knocked out & abducted by the Hunters. When he comes to, Dale starts laughing when he realizes they've eaten his infected leg. The Hunters think he's gone crazy from shock.

Dale reveals to The Hunters that he has been bitten by a walker (which, on the TV show, may be why Bob was in the woods crying) & taunts them. The Hunters, fearing they may be infected, beat Dale to nearly to death. They then leave him in front of the church so they can ambush Rick's group.

I wonder if the people they showed from the "Then" portion of the last episode will turn out to be Negan & the Saviors. It's interesting to see the correlations between the comic & the show.

I was under the impression the "then" people became the Terminus cannibals, so Gareth and his BBQer friends and probably the majority of the others died in the fight? That's what I got from Terminus Mary's story to Carol. And she and Gareth and the other man (slab boy) were in the very last "then" scene

Yes the then people were the cannibals, the Then scenes showed what happened to them when the other people came to Terminus and tried to take over.

This is what I thought as well, because that big slicked back pony tail guy sure looked like Negan. But they confirmed on the Walking Dead that the pony tail guy in the "then" scene is the guy that Glenn let out of the shipping container that was crazy. And didn't he then proceed to get eaten by a walker?

Negan is going to play a big role I bet, and wasn't he in the comics once they got to the Alexandria safe zone? (Presumably after they make it to DC, if the show goes the same route).

I immediately thought Bob was bit when he was pulled under by a walker. Can anyone confirm/deny? I read back a page of the thread but didn't see much.

For the record, I loved the episode. The ending was pretty good and I cannot wait to learn more about Gabriel.

Nobody can confirm or deny if Bob was bit because they did not tell us on the show. People can speculate based on what they think happened, or by what happened in the comics (similar story line with different character) but it is pure speculation. Hopefully we will find out next week.

I want to know how Gabriel was so clean cut. Honestly the apocalypse has been going on for a couple of years and he is so clean shaven, clean cut, has clean pressed clothes. I know he holed up for a while in the church, but does he have access to a dry cleaner, shaver, hair buzzer, soap etc.?

I commented to my dd on Sunday about how a lot of the guys must have access to razors. Glenn is still clean shaven, and that facial hair of Abrahams is pretty high maintenance LOL.

That's what I was wondering too. It's been about 18 months - 2 years since it started?
I'm thinking that Bob did get bitten by the way he was acting all weird after the water scene. That would make sense as to why he went outside all upset and had Sasha give him "one more kiss". It was a complete 180 from the happy-go-lucky Bob we saw at the beginning of the episode.

That's what DH and I thought too. He went outside to be away from the group/die.

I'm really pleased with this season so far... I was a little bored last season but I'm very much looking forward to this one!

The collars are often made of a soft plastic, so they can easily be wiped off if for some reason they get dirty. (just checked with the hubby who is a PK)

I also believe Bob was bit and got the impression he was going off to kill himself or run away.

On talking dead, the actor that plays Tyrese said his character truly believed he killed the guy, so he wasn't "lying" when he said he killed him. I think it is an example of how naïve and weak Tyrese is.



If he was a priest than it couldn't have been his wife. Now it could have been a secret girlfriend he had. Maybe the church members knew about it and that is why it was carved into the wall that he will burn. Given how timid he appears to be, I bet he locked everyone out of the church in fear of the walkers. Essentially killing people. I do think he has something to hide but I am going to say he is still a good guy.

Episcopalian priests can marry. Catholic priests can not. The sign outside said it was an Episcopalian Church.

The white collar can be cleaned off pretty easily. And I know several Catholic priests who go out and about in "regular" clothes so maybe he left his priest clothes in a closet. DS17 and I were talking about it and thought he only wore the priest clothes when he ventured out so if he came across trouble or was luring people, they would be more likely to trust or feel sorry for a priest.
