BUt then it's not all a dream sequence or hallucination. So, if Glenn isn't dead it's because he gets saved somehow (or hides somehow). Wonder if this is where the whisperers from the books come in?? And maybe Enid is a Whisperer??

I really don't think so. I had read somewhere that Andrew Lincoln wanted Rick to lose his hand but the effects people vetoed it because of the logistics of it. Someone in the comics lost a hand, Carl maybe? I think it was an homage to that. I don't think Rick will be killed or turn to a walker.

Glenn is dead. The whole story arc shows him preparing to have his luck run out and conclude/reinforce Rick's current state of mind that he "doesn't take chances anymore"-no favors, second chances etc-all comes back to haunt you. I think the resolution for Glenn will be finding his pack, parts of him/glenn as a walker, and Maggie discovering she is pregnant and daydreaming of a future that won't happen now.

Has anyone noticed that these actors contracts aren't all over the internet? When major characters have been killed off on other shows there's been leaks that the contract ended, actor asked for more $$ etc.-nada that I can find on these actors. The only thing I found was a sorta speculation that cast that is "regular" signs standard 5 year contract - but it doesn't keep them from being killed off...

Remember they are all infected anyway. Doesn't matter if he got walker blood in his cut. I think the difference is if they are bit, just like if you get bit by a human in real life, it's much worse than say get someone's blood in your cut.

Glenn is dead. This makes sense, but I still think he is alive and they will have him die at the hands of Negan, or not at all. Also, as others have pointed out, he has been seen filming with characters Glenn has yet to meet so they would not be flash backs. I still say the 6 unkillables (rick, glenn, maggie, daryl, carol and michonne) will never be killed off.

I think walkers are like Komodo dragons...their mouths teeming with bacteria (and their fingers/nails) so when you're bitten you wind up with a nasty fast-spreading infection that kills you. EVERYOMNE is infected with whatever virus reanimates them. I think the death-by-walker and reanimation are two different diseases.

I watched the scene where Glenn "dies" again and again, I am not sure what to think anymore...TD sure did put doubts in my mind, I do think Maggie is pregnant for sure , as for everything else who the heck knows!

IF Nicholas did fall on top of Glenn he could be laying across Glenn's chest hence why intestines were being dragged out of what should have been Glenn's chest, but the zombies are ripping into Glenn's shirt as Nicholas had a green shirt and Glenn had a grey shirt and the shirt being ripped in the scene is grey....Glenn could be screaming because he is having Nicholas torn to shreds on top of him but they did definitely rip into a grey shirt.

Just don't see how he could get out of this because the zombies would be attracted to the noise and all of his screaming makes him a huge target. I don't see how he could roll under the dumpster because his head is at the dumpster as the camera pulls away so his legs would/should be right in the middle of the pack.

As for Rick, **comic book spoiler** highlight if you want to see it he does lose his hand in the comics, not this way but in a fight with the Governor but not sure if they would go ahead with him losing it or not...you would think he would have panicked right away and realized he had to cut it off like they did with Hershel to stop the infection but he didn't. He got in the RV, annihilated the Wolves and now has a throng of zombies surrounding the RV. He needs to close the doors that the Wolves came in!

This episode definitely scared the bejeezus out of all of us and got all of us posting our conspiracy theories!

I agree. No way Glenn would survive even if Nicholas is on top of him. Nicholas had to land across him (like a plus sign) because we do not see Nicholas's face. Glenn would have his arms and legs exposed as well as his head that we all saw. A walker is going to take a bite of some piece of Glenn. No way out of this scenario. This is all a hallucination of Nicholas's. The fall never happened.

I agree with mostly this. Replace Maggie with Carl, and I think you've got your list of untouchables.

I honestly think a couple of seasons ago, that yes, "no one on the show is ever safe". I think AMC, the writers, creators, showrunner(s), et all know that this show is a goldmine. It's reached unprecedented viewership ratings (many times). The fan base is unreal. I think they know that there is no way they can kill an untouchable off at this point. Too much to lose.

I think the only way an untouchable will get killed off is if they want out of their contract.

The Whisperers come way later - and they don't save people. They roam around in a pack following the zombies and wear the zombie skin to blend in with the herd. This is similar to what Michone did with her walker pets. They also take the belongings of the people the zombies attack. So, no, Enid is not a Whisperer.
