The walking dead amc #2

I never thought for a second that Glenn might not be dead until I watched The Talking Dead. When they said "assumed" and "presumed" dead, I was all like "wha??" Then the In Memorium section! I wouldn't have doubted his passing last night except for that. So I think he's alive, and there's a lot of intentional hype going on around this. I also think they did this early in the season to test the waters with public reaction to killing one of the "unkillables". Could they get away with it and not lose loyal viewers? They may be getting their answers today.

could be. All I kept thinking was the TD sealed it for me that he is still alive. If they wanted to keep it secret, they should not have had TD on last night. Not having steven there so fans "could process" what happened to him was such a crock. When have they ever done that? Usually Chris H is like, "its important for the fans to see his is okay!" Then when he wasn't in the memoriam, I was like, "yeah he is still alive." Like I said upthread, its a way to kill one of the unkillables without actually killing him. We process it, get angry, grieve, then surprise! He's back and the fantastic 6 are still alive. I believe the show became famous for killing characters, now it is too difficult because after 6 seasons, the fans are waaaaay to invested in them. Mark my words, Glenn is alive.

Everyone is focus on Glenn- I wonder how Rick is going to get out of his mess that he is in?

If I'm remembering correctly he was not really surrounded, just in their path. He could go through the roof vent and hide out up there until the herd passes (didn't Glen do that on a previous ep?) or he could get out of there and outrun them... or maybe Enid will make her happy reappearance!

ou mean completely surrounded like Rick in the tank? Or Darryl and Aaron in the car? Or (insert hopeless scenario here)...
The governor in that warehouse when Andrea left him for the walkers? THAT is pretty unbelievable, but it happened! We just watched it, I'm so late to the game! You all have hit on most of what we're thinking. No way is that how Glenn goes.
Here's my 2 cents on the episode.

The guys at the RV are the Wolves from Alexandria. I don't think the Wolves have Judith, just taking whatever food they can get.

So glad Daryl went back. Although, kinda hoping he had headed in Rick's direction.

After Dale's RV hose saga, you'd think they would find a more reliable style of vehicle for such an important job! Not sure how Rick is getting out of that one. Maybe he dies at mid-season, and Glenn re-appears!

The Alexandrian with the top-knot dreads has finally had a taste of the "real" world. I don't think he likes it.

He could get the RV started...or...I saw a house next to the RV that he could run to and hide for a bit or just hang tight in the RV. Walkers don't tend to open doors, so maybe they'll bang around a bit and then go off. Plus, is Darryl, Sasha and Abraham on their way towards him or are they trying to lead the heard away from his direction?

I thought Rick was going to meet the herd that had broken off and draw them (via the RV noise) to a point to join Sasha, Abraham and Daryl. He radioed them that he thought he was where he should be, but maybe he's not and they will drive by, draw the herd away and save him.

You mean completely surrounded like Rick in the tank? Or Darryl and Aaron in the car? Or (insert hopeless scenario here)... I think they could show him crawling under the dumpster (if it's one of the ones on wheels) while the herd is feasting on Nicholas.

So true. When you think it is completely hopeless, poof! they escape.

I didn't look back far enough to see if anyone posted this...but I read that the black guy that got shot in the leg is Sonequa's (Sasha) real life husband

Going to be a long week! Next episode better not be all Morgan. I want answers!!!. If this show takes a "Lost" turn and gets too flashback/forwardy I won't be able to keep watching, too frustrating. There are so many shows now that rely on the flash back/forward because the storyline on its own cant stand up - just this month saw that "twust"on How to...murder, Once..., Castle, and TVD (don't judge)...

This is the main reason I think so too. Will they just always wonder why he didn't come back? That would be absolute torture.

I just can't see them doing that to him. He has been with the group since season 1, he needs a proper goodbye. If nobody back at Alexandria knows what happened to him, they would not leave the area or rest until he was found, which he never would be. No way would they leave without knowing one way or the other. they would always be looking for him and get "stuck" in the "where is he?" trap. They would always be holding onto the hope that he would return. I could not see them just shrugging and saying, "well we can't find him, he must be dead I guess?" I just don't think they would do that to a character of his caliber. Maybe to a lesser character.

I have to agree...Maggie would go off the deep end trying to look for him if she doesnt have closure...she did that on the way to Terminus, she was hyper focused on finding Glenn.

Was Nicholas in the Memorian? We just watched the episode last night but have not had a chance to watch TD
