The walking dead amc #2

Not happy with the season so far. They tend to have this big build up towards the end of the season, then just a quick ending on the premiere.

I was halfway hoping we had seen the end of Beth. She just irritates me. Maybe it is just her character has not really been developed but I am tired of her and her singing.

She comes across as not having a lot of emotion. She showed a bit when she was alone with Daryl but aside from that she is just very blah.

Who do you think is with Daryl?

My initial thought was that Morgan is with Daryl. In the premier he was seen going into the woods and they haven't showed him again yet. But after last night, it might be Noah----Daryl and Carol saw him, found out where Beth is, Carol faked it to get access to Beth and Daryl brought back Noah...I JUST DON'T KNOWWWWWW:faint:

I've read 50-70 miles. Not sure how accurate that is. I think it's plausible that when Darryl and Carol saw the car with the white cross, they followed it to the hospital, and then when Noah made his escape they were nearby to see him/run into him. I agree with the theory that they then crafted the plan to have Carol play injured to get inside the hospital.

Car with the white cross...hmmm :scratchin, I am definitely missing details now that I can't really stomach "watching" the show. And while I agree with mrodgers about the slaughter house scenes being pivotal to the story, viscerally, I just couldn't take it.

I don't have it on my DVR anymore but last week's episode, right before the group branched off and got in the bus, they handed Rick a map that had a route highlighted on it. Maybe that would show where the church was located if anyone goes back to look. ETA: I tried to look at the online episode but it was too blurry. Maybe someone more inclined could do a screen grab!

ETA 2: 80 to 90 miles from Atlanta to "Terminus". Someone on a fan site did a screen grab of the Terminus map which is right by Macon, Ga.

I think we need a spoiler thread! ;) I don't like the split stories but I am so hooked!

Last night was tough to watch especially the arm and Gorman, but I think there were a lot of parallel lines (Hershel and Joan, Shane and Otis) but with Beth. The quote on talking dead about raised by Hershel and trained by Darryl seemed fitting.

They've showed the cars with white crosses several times

First, last season when Beth was taken; Daryl had told her to wait for him outside while he fought off some walkers... He emerged from the house to see her bag in the street and a black car with a white cross drive off.

Then last week when carol was out in the woods trying to start up the random car in the road and Daryl followed after her and was asking "where are you going?" They saw the cross car again and followed it.

And last night when Noah and Beth make it to the parking lot we see a few different cars/trucks with the same white crosses on the back.

Im hoping carol is feigning an injury to help bust Beth outta there, and Noah is with Daryl and that they just wanted to come back to Rick and co for support and stay together as a group, and not because anything went terribly wrong :-/

I'm rapidly getting irritated by this season. It's bad enough they've split the group into two stories (Rick's crew and the DC crew), now they're introducing new characters into a third story at the hospital.

Guess I wouldn't mind if they'd spend an hour touching base with each, but next week looks like they concentrate on the DC bunch. Hope this isn't a trend.

I haven't seen any info as to their exact location.

I did find this website that had some pretty interesting information (to me at least) Not what you are looking for, but interesting!

elgerber - I do remember now, reading somewhere:confused3, that Carol is faking unconsciousness to gain entry into the hospital. It was just a speculation, but it makes sense. Carol is just like Daryl, a badazz!!!!!

Carol is now badazz but she was an annoying whining person in the beginning, just like Beth is now.

Yes, she did change. She went from allowing her husband abuse her, to, don't dare mess with my family!

PS - if she asks you to look at the flowers, be afraid. Be VERY afraid :lmao::lmao:

Besides the violence of killing zombies.

The emotional aspect of watching the characters grown into harden survivors is why I enjoy watching this show.

DD29 spotted a tshirt on ThinkGeek that she wants. It has a picture of bloodspattered daisies and says "Lizzie's Babysitting"

I don't think they are going to have a third story going. The story with Rick's group at the church is pretty much over. I think Rick's group will now be part of the hospital story since Daryl came back to the church with Noah (or at least that is what everyone assumes) and the hospital has Carol.

That is what I think also. Daryl will gather the troops to rescue both Beth and Carol and then they will be off to find Abraham's group. Of course, it doesn't look good for his group either. Him collapsing to his knees in the middle of the road, crying. Wonder if something happen to Tomb Raider chick? Really hope nothing happens to Maggie or Glenn.

Hey, I hope you guys are right and I agree that's what will eventually happen. However, this series has a tendency to drag things out. This episode was all about the hospital with back stories. No Rick or DC crew. Next week's preview looks like all DC crew. So we still won't know who Daryl calls out of the woods, or what's the deal with Carol at the hospital and Beth. I mean, they've been teasing us with Morgan for weeks now.

I just wish they'd at least touch base with each group on a weekly basis. But what do I know? :rotfl:

Considering the show is going on a two month hiatus in early December, I don't think this season will resolve itself in all three factions getting together until after the break.

Again - I hope I'm wrong. :confused3

Oh you're probably very right. I imagine next episode follows Abrahams group. The one after that back to Rick and the gang. Maybe after that we'll see what Carol and Beth do/did in the hospital. Something big has to be happening when it goes to the LONG LONG ANNOYING winter break!

If the story follows some of the comic, I have an idea why Abraham might be crying in the street.

Well spill it! ;) but hide it in the white out type.

Here you go: Eugene isn't a scientist...he's a high school teacher and a wimp who figured out by telling people he knew how to end the zombie-pocalypse, people would keep him safe.
