The walking dead amc #2

I also don't like when they separate, it's like 3 different story lines or mini-shows at once. Beth's group, Ricks group, Abrahams group. Then you have to wait a few weeks until they get back to a certain group or reunite.

I don't like when they separate either!! I need to see my whole "family", know that they are taking care of each other and are still alive :thumbsup2

OTOH, I liked the episode. Oh my, what Beth is going through :worried:

The scene where Beth and Noah are trying to escape was good. I really thought Noah wasn't going to make it with his injured leg. It was a flashback to Shane and Otis trying to escape after getting the medical supplies to save Carl. Although Shane's intentions weren't honorable, unlike Beth that was doing her best to get them both out. But Noah did make it out. Loved the smile on Beth's face after she is taken down, and sees that Noah has made it out of the gates.

Still not sure who Daryl is bringing out of the woods. I don't see it as Beth, as I don't feel she will leave the hospital, even if she has another chance to escape. I think she would stay and make sure Dawn and her group don't do anything to hurt Carol. I think she would stick around until Carol is on her feet, so that they can both get out together. My new guess is that it is Noah, as he escaped around the same time that Carol may have been taken in by Dawn's group.

Too many twists and turns, they always keep you guessing :cool1::cool1:

I don't know how I felt about last nights episode. I hated that guy and was glad he was killed. I hated the amputation, I hated the walker elevator scene, I hated the lollipop scene. I was very uncomfortable during the whole show I guess! :rotfl2:

Oh, I know! That lollipop scene had me cringing.

Did every one get the AMC is going away commercials call your company.

Direct tv had their own we aren't getting rid of AMC commercial, we are in contract negotiations. Direct tv's was very humorous.

I didn't get a Direct TV comeback commercial , just the stupid AMC ones, and the darn scrolling on the bottom of the screen during the show.

Last nights was a bit slow, but I always enjoy each episode. That guy sure got what was coming to him! And that Dr, what a jerk!
I knew Noah wouldn't die, because there has been too much buzz about his character coming on the show.
I found the whole storyline last night rather confusing, until they explained several things later in the show.
I believe it's Noah with Daryl. My guess...Daryl and Carol found Noah running away, he told them whats up. Carol pretends to need help to get brought into the hospital to protect Beth, while Daryl and Noah go back to get the others. It would have to be Carol they take in, because they would take one look at Daryl and think he was too strong, but Carol they would never guess what an awesome woman she is. Won't they be surprised :)
Those are my thoughts anyway LOL.

I agree that is Noah with Daryl... however I don't think it is as planned as that, Daryl looked like he was injured when he was talking with Michonne... so I think something went down. I can't imagine Daryl leaving Carol alone in Atlanta... he would stick around on the periphery to do back up. Unless he is coming back to get Rick and Co to do an attack... bringing Noah as evidence.

Did not seem like there were too many at the hospital... Doc, Beth, Noah, Dawn and I only counted 4 more officers... now one less thanks to Beth and Mona ;)

Help me out here; obviously I must have missed something. When did Carol show up? Truthfully, I've watched most of this season's episodes with my eyes closed and details are starting to slip by me. I know this will sound ridiculous, but I'm actually finding TWD is becoming too graphically violent, if that's even possible in this context. :bitelip:

right at the end, she was brought in on a stretcher. After their conversation in the Doc's room... Beth was walking down the hall towards the doc with a knife, when carol was wheeled in.

Carol showed up at the very end of the show. Beth was trying to escape, but got caught. Beth was taken back inside and they showed a stretcher being wheeled into a room. The person on that stretcher was Carol.

Do we know how far the hospital is away for where the group is presently? Any information that would make to plausible for Noah to have made his way to them?

We don't know how far out of Atlanta they are. I am still thinking that Daryl and Carol found him, as they were following that car, so they were probably in Atlanta themselves.

I haven't seen any info as to their exact location.

I did find this website that had some pretty interesting information (to me at least) Not what you are looking for, but interesting!

elgerber - I do remember now, reading somewhere:confused3, that Carol is faking unconsciousness to gain entry into the hospital. It was just a speculation, but it makes sense. Carol is just like Daryl, a badazz!!!!!

So, what did everyone think of last nights episode? I guess we have our answers as to where Carol is and who is with Daryl. It was good to get some answers but it seemed to drag a little, just being centered on Beth.

Next week it looks like it is centered around Eugene's group. I don't like having everyone split up. You end up going a couple of weeks before you see a group again. It's hard enough waiting one week for answers, but having to wait longer is killing me!

Who do you think is with Daryl?

I kind of agree with that. The trough scene was a powerful scene in the season opener. That was an excellent scene. The arm sawing in this episode is just gore content to have gore content. I don't like the content just to have the content on screen. It reminds me of a lot of the romantic comedies my wife and I watch lately where they throw the F bomb in just about every sentence just to have the F bomb thrown out there. Most groups of people don't talk that way, especially adult guys to girls and girls to guys. A well placed appropriate F word is fine and adds to a scene (think Lethal Weapon series.) The trough scene was a well placed appropriate attention getter to show the desperation of the situation. The arm sawing was just to place gore on screen and is not needed.

Who do you think is with Daryl?
It seemed pretty obvious to me as soon as Noah made it out, especially with Carol being brought in on the stretcher. All speculation after last week was Beth with a messed up head from whatever she encountered. Now Carol is on the inside with Beth (speculation elsewhere is she is faking) and as speculation, after they meet Noah. Daryl brings Noah to the church but tells him to hold back while Daryl exits the woods to see Michonne. Then as a hanger at the end of the episode, he says, ok, you can come out now to keep us waiting in suspense, which it has for the past week.

I agree with you. I'm not at all happy to have them go back to the having three separate story lines and making us wait 3 weeks to find out what happened in each one. It was frustrating last season and I was so happy to finally see them back together again. UGH....please don't let this whole season be like that :worried:

My DD left the room during the amputation scene (I covered my eyes). That was definitely overkill on the gross factor ::yes::

I'm confused as to what it going on with Daryl now though. I guess that is Noah in the woods with him but I just can't believe he would leave with Beth and Carol still in the hospital.

I think with the few people that are in that hospital, Daryl knows Carol can totally handle herself.

The only way I can see Daryl leaving Carol and Beth at the hospital is if they need help and Daryl needs the group to go in and get Carol and Beth out. I think he and Carol somehow crossed paths with Noah and maybe sent Carol in to extract Beth and something goes wrong so he and Noah go back to get Rick and Co.

This is how I see it too. Noah ran into Carol & Daryl who then explained where he was & how he got out. I think Carol being brought into the hospital is part of a plan to get to Beth to protect her while Daryl drives back to Rick's group w/Noah to get the rest of the gang to get Beth out. Noah would have told them too that Carol would be better for going in as the hospital people would see Daryl as a threat. That hospital is a good place to hang out for Rick's group w/the food & medicines they have. They would just have to deal with the police people first.

I've read 50-70 miles. Not sure how accurate that is. I think it's plausible that when Darryl and Carol saw the car with the white cross, they followed it to the hospital, and then when Noah made his escape they were nearby to see him/run into him. I agree with the theory that they then crafted the plan to have Carol play injured to get inside the hospital.

I was halfway hoping we had seen the end of Beth. She just irritates me. Maybe it is just her character has not really been developed but I am tired of her and her singing.
