The walking dead amc #2

I think it was Eugene. I trust Dwight is sincere but not sure Daryl will trust it. The whole part at Oceanside was STUPID and seemed like something a bunch of high schoolers would film in the backyard.... very cheap. I am intrigued by the Sasha storyline and the Hilltop and Maggie stuff.

Sasha...I see her taking one of two options. She will either take the poison and hope to turn and get Negan if he's the one who finds her. Or she'll try to put it in something to feed Negan. And that may go south. Either way I feel like Sasha's days are numbered.

I hope Dwight is sincere.

I really feel Sasha is gone, just because of her new TV show.

Another forum I read thinks the Junkyard people may have told Negan about Alexandrias plans. I hope so, I have not given up on Eugene yet!

I struggle to believe that Eugene would endanger the group, I'm not giving up on him yet either!

They didn't leave Oceanside a single gun. Rough :(

I also think the loons are in cahoots with Negan. Don't know what to think about Eugene after this episode.

Could be what's his name, the leader jerk at Hilltop, who spilled the beans. Does he know the plans? I am only half paying attention this season.

It couldn't have been Eugene. Rick didn't decide to fight until after Olivia was killed and Eugene was taken. I think Negan was fishing when he told that to Sasha. I think Negan is smart enough to know any of the groups he has under his thumb will try to fight back at some point. I think Sasha will try to poison Negan. You saw her face after she begged Eugene for a piece of glass, knife or gun. There was no way she was intending to use it on herself. That's why she was upset when he gave her the pill, will be much harder to kill Negan with that.

After last night's episode, I really don't think Eugene has some kind of master plan with the Saviors. I think he's a conformist and is just going along with Negan and the rest of them to ensure his own safety. I think this is why he tried to convince Sasha to do the same, and I think he would have let on to Sasha when he was alone with her that he's working on something if that were the case. That said, I don't think Eugene would do anything to hurt the Alexandrians either.

Not sure who, if anyone, said that to Negan. I'd also suspect Gregory because there's been some foreshadowing that he is willing to turn against his own group and the other good guys to protect himself.

I had hopes Dwight would want to help, and I was glad to see this come to fruition. I think he is sincere. The Oceanside stuff was meh... I wonder if some or all of them will end up helping out in the end? Hopefully we see this group again and they weren't just a means to get guns for the Alexandria group.

I like that the episode showed more than one story. I liked being able to see what almost all of the groups were up to.

I really liked the episode last night. I definitely think Eugene is a big weasel who has no gumption, and the only thing he cares about is feeling "safe". Not that he wants anything to happen to his friends, but he's always gonna be Eugene-first after all the trauma he went through. I also think Dwight is going to be a key player in the Rick gang going forward. I totally buy that he has turned on Negan, and get the feeling he is going to end up replacing Abraham's role in Alexandria. Did anyone get a tight vibe from the little scene with Darryl and Jesus last night when they were working on the explosives? Now that they've quietly established that Jesus is gay, I would bet my bottom dollar that Darryl and Jesus are going to get a LOT closer! I loved the preview on the Talking Dead with Ezekiel and Morgan, and seeing all of them, including Carol, suited up in their shoulder pads and walking with the tiger like a bunch of warriors was pretty awesome. I hope the season finale is as exciting as it's building up to be. Oh, and the best line of last night's episode was Negan telling Sasha she had some beach ball sized lady nuts, lol.

That line was pretty funny. I'm shocked he didn't kill Sasha, after all she went there to kill him. Unless he thought she was there to free Eugene??? How in the world can Negan ever trust Sasha. I find it pretty weird, but I guess he's so arrogant he just doesn't believe once anyone lives at the Sanctuary they will want to hurt him.

I also believe Dwight is for real and will help the Alexandrians. You can tell he does not like Negan and doesn't enjoy the things he has done. I think sherry leaving is what gave Dwight the courage to go after Negan. Before he couldn't go after him since he would be afraid of Sherry suffering the consequences.

I think Negan didn't kill Sasha because he knew she wanted to die. She came in with a death wish. I think he see's an opportunity to use her to get to Rick, and that is Negan's favorite thing to do, play mind games.

He also has a weird respect for people who stand up to him, like Carl, Rosita, Daryl and Rick. All of these people, like Sasha, have mouthed off and stood up to him or tried to kill him. Instead of killing them, he uses them. He kind of likes people who show some spunk. It's the weak ones who kiss butt and fall in line with him that irritate him, like Spencer.

I thought last night's best line was "I'm going to need you to kneel" - at that point I knew "Rick" was back. I do think Dwight is sincere, and I'm curious who would have ratted the group out to Negan, I'm honestly hoping he's bluffing, but you never can tell. I can't believe it's the season finale next week though!!

The more I think about it, the more I think it is the junkyard group. I don't think it was Gregory, although he did hint about it to Simon. At the end of the episode last night, he was pulling out the map. I think he may be on his way to Negans camp to give up Maggie and the group, but I don't think he did it yet. I don't think it was Eugene because as someone pointed out, Rick decided to fight after they took Eugene so he would have no way of knowing. That leaves the Junkyard group, but I didn't think they had contact yet with the Saviors. The only thing I can guess is that Negas group found the Junkyard and they were forced to give up Rick's group.

I think Negan was just fishing with Sasha. At first though, I thought I missed an episode. With Rosita back at camp, and not seeing any interaction with whoever was in the shadows, and Sasha already caught, I was quite confused.

Yeah, they skipped some stuff. They showed Rosita running down the street after Sasha ran in to the Saviors camp, so we assume she is running back to Alexandria. We never see anything between Rosita and Dwight, just her telling Rick they have a guest, when they all return to Alexandria from Seaside. We also don't know what transpired with Sasha. We just saw her run in at the end of the episode last week, then we saw her in the cell last night.

Eugene has fallen in line and he's not irritated Negan.

I really hope they fill in the hole with Rosita and Dwight. I would like to see their interaction, to try to feel out if Dwight is in fact on the up and up. Did he come back willingly or did Rosita get the upper hand and had a gun on him and made him come back.

Eugene has fallen in line and he's not irritated Negan.

But Negan needs Eugene. Eugene is very smart and solves problems. Negan needs someone like Eugene on his team. Many of Negans men are nothing more than bullies and henchmen. Eugene fills a different need, he is harmless, scared out of his mind and child like, not kiss-butt like Spenser. Spenser was such a brown noser trying to impress Negan and was acting like he was on a job interview. Negan saw through him and gutted him.

Looks like no closure in the season finale. Will probably end with a cliffhanger just before the big bang
