The walk from HRH to parks?

I know that you can walk from Hard Rock Hotel in about 10 minutes or so to the parks.
What I am wondering, where do you leave the hotel (past the pool maybe?) and where exactly do you end up by the parks (at City Walk?)?

You can cut across the pool or exit through the doors at the end of the hall. You can also exit through another set of doors that will take you to the docks.

I know of 3 way you can go. the first is to go out by the pool and continue past the water slide. You then go across a parking lot and then walk a path that I believe joins a main path that the other 2 also join. The second is go out by the pool and go to your right and exit and that will join up with the 3rd path. The 3rd path (and our favoirte) in from the 1st floor 9not the main floor) instead of going toward the back of the building and out hte doors next to the SunsetGrille to the pool area go the other way and by the restrooms and pay phones and out that door (or go out the front loby doors and down the stairs or elevator to the right) then follow the path to the ferry dock and continue along that wlk way. You end up right at US and the bridge that goes over to CW.

The quickest way is to go out of the gate to the right of the slide. Even if you're a very slow walker it will only take 5 minutes to Universal and 10 to IOA!

I agree with Xavier. Go through the gate to the right of the slide and follow the very short path that brings you right out to US and City Walk. Very short walk. Then you can continue on to IOA.

I guess I'm the only one who thought the path out by the slide was confussing and unsafe. I'd rather walk on a pathway than through a parking lot.
