The Wait is Over.....DIS Land is here!! :)

Oh a little side note....I'm not sure if I got a dream or not!!! We go through the arches and are heading to Ft.Wilderness and we pull into the first gates that you go through before you branch off to where you are going and this girl comes out of her little booth waving her big Mickey Glove and says Have a Magical Day!!! I said oh thank you as I handed her the $12 to get in for parking I am assuming. Well she waves her big glove again and says in a sing song kind of voice, as she waves her glove, "Have a Magical Day because I'm not charging you!!!! So off we go through there with a big wave and a goodbye and a huge thank you! It just made my day!!!!

So as I showed you, we went into Ft. Wilderness and told the guard at the gate we wanted to look around as we are coming in October and we want to get an idea of how the sites are laid out and how big they are.

So we drive around and here are just some pictures of the campground.

There are bus stops outside of every loop to take you to the transportation to get to the parks.

Cabins that you can rent, they are more expensive than the camp sites but cheaper than the lodge, I think they are considered moderate range.

This is the loop we liked best as far as the camp sites. The sites were flatter, had more room for our decorations and halloween blow ups plus it is near the Marina. We didn't check out the Premier sites, we will check them out when we come to set up the camper though, they are the opposite end of the campground from the Marina but hey we are renting a golf cart so we can get anywhere we want with no problem. What do you think sharky?

Oh I bet your kitchen is adorable. They had everything!! I was having a ball.

I know what souviners are coming home with me. Gotta have the Mickey kitchen stuff.

They had so much more than was in that picture, pizza cutters with Mickey heads on them, measuring spoons, ladles, everything you could possibly want!

Here are just some random pictures we took while there.

A walkway through the campground, they were all over.

For Sharky to see what to expect, here is the laundromat, it was so clean I wouldn't mind using them at all.

Then of course, Sharky is a germophobe and she's worried about DH not wanting to use the bath houses, they were so clean I would go in them without my flip flops even. DH likes to use the bathhouse as you get better water pressure and the hot water lasts longer than it does in the camper and with him being so big, the bath house is roomier. he thought DSIL would want to use them too but Sharky thinks he'll be skeeved out by a public bathhouse. But check it out, thyey are squeaky clean.

Then the handicapped shower, which is huge

Even the potty area is very clean and decorated nicely.

You've all seen the Mickey Head Lamps, well this one was so cute, it was a Minnie Head Lamp

We are going to eat here one night, have a great menu but you can't really read it in the picture

Cute Mickey and Minnie lights, they were made out of the rope lights. DH said I could do that so you know what I said, well do it!!!! I hope we have enough time on our weekend home in Sept to get the camper, for him to make those!!!

Here are some odds and ends of photos we've taken in the past week.

We are wondering what type of food they serve in an Ethipopian restaurant, any one know? Isn't that the country that has the poor children with nothing to eat. You see those commercials and feel so bad so am wondering what in the world they serve at these restaurants???

Then we saw one of the trolleys on international drive, they are so cute but the pic came out blurry, you get the idea though of the cute faces on the front of the trolleys.

Then as we were driving up International Drive we saw wonder works, the place is built upside down, I think it's a riot! Check out the palm trees and the Fed Ex box!

OK ladies done with the pics for the night and in a few minutes have to take Beau for a walk and then get to bed.

I am going to Disney Casting tomorrow for an interview. They don't have any openings right now but they said they like to interview you ahead of time for future openings so want to be bright eyed and wide awake and Disney Happy when I go!!!

That is such a good question...what type of food do they serve at an Ethiopian restaurant That just makes me laugh when I type it out!

Ooooooh, I saw that upside down building in October. Our first night we stayed off site so we could get an early start to the parks but not pay Disney hotel prices and the hotel we stayed at was really close to that upside down building. I have never seen anything like it!!! So cool!
