What a day it has been! I can't wait til 4:00! And I thought YESTERDAY was bad. Even Wednesday with the auditors was not as bad.

I guess this work week has just sucked all around. Thankfully this was also the one week when Mike didn't have any closing shifts! He definitely helped me feel better in the evenings. And I had dinner waiting for me when I got home yesterday! That was really cool!

It's sort of like the Disney version of Grease. You know... squeaky clean. If you like musicals, then you might like it. I think it's cute and the girl Vanessa Hudgens can really sing.

It's so funny that all the teenagers around here were really into it when it first came out and then when the preteen set started liking it -- it suddenly wasn't cool anymore

The play was good -- it was fun to see the different people they cast and some of the kids are going to be really good actors. My kids had a blast. Although it was a bit long for them (2 hours ).

I am glad you all enjoyed it

Maybe I will try and watch it. I did watch about 15 mins of the original one. I think I saw it is on today at 8pm, on ABC. I am not sure which one it is. It says HSM: Get in the Picture. Is that the first one?

I'm sorry all you girls are having a bad week, that's a shame. I hope this weekend is great and next week is better for ya'll!

yeah not having any really sucks!!

The weekend for me has been good. I've gotten all of my dailies this weekend (or so I think....didn't get done with the one from yesterday until 12:04am so I"m hoping it counted since I was able to do another one today) and we've been spending time with my 13 year old neice. We took her to see Dark Knight last night and she spent the night. Now her and Chris are playing on the Wii I feel terrible though because yesterday just as we were leaving to go eat dinner she was looking at Chris' motorcycle and she got too close to the exhaust and burned her leg!! She's a tough girl and is okay but it's worse than my burn was 'cause it blistered. Then when we came back from dinner to get her some Aquafore to put on the burn it had been raining and she was wearing sandles with no traction.....well, wet sandles and slick garage surface = splitsville. She fell and hurt her toe pretty good on the same leg as the burn. She was in pain but she is a trooper and said she was gonna go see the movie if it killed her So, it has been interesting to say the least but fun too despite all the pain our home has caused my neice.

I think I need it now. You know how they have those people on Maury who are scared stupid by stuff like balloons, pickles, or puppies? I think I have that abnormal fear of things (you know, like cows, horses, and bugs). Anyway, we had this HUGE (I'm talking like 2 inches long) centipede in our house when I came home from work. I was the only one home. I called Joe and asked him to come home and kill it. He wouldn't leave work, so I had to do it. I was literally almost in tears, it was on the wall, so I got out the bleach cleaner and started spraying the hell out of it. It fell off the wall, I ran away screaming. IT WAS STILL ALIVE! I came back and it was writhing around on the floor, so I drowned it in the bleach cleaner. Then I covered it with paper towels and put a note on it for Joe to pick it up when he came home. Luckily, we have white tile where I sprayed it, or I would have to buy new carpeting.


I've stopped being a considerate shopper at Wal Mart. I think if someone feels it necessary to run into me with their cart, I should be allowed to whack em with mine.

Oh man I hate those centapeed things

They're big and slimy and they swim into body orifices and lay eggs when you least expect it.

How else am I going to find the contraband? Not that I would use it for myself or anything.

You could come see gramma! Of course, you would have to do it before September 11th, or after September 21st, so that's not much fun for the birthdays. Of course, Brookville isn't much fun any other time, either

This reminds me of a laundry story. Well, it just happened, so its not like I had to think real hard about it.

I put my purse in the washing machine. I failed to realize that there was an unused (thank goodness...not like I go around carrying used ones) tampon in one of the pockets. Glad it was in a plastic wrapper, or I would have had a mess to clean up in my washing machine.

I'm not getting the big bonus. I only have 11 or 12 completed.

Oh man, yeah good thing it was in the plastic. I can't imagine how messy that would have been

bummer that you're not getting the big bonus...if you have 12 surveys for the month you only need one more to get the $3 bonus

wow....where has everyone been?

We went out for Mexican tonight....poor Mike needed to get out. He got a reject letter today from the job he interviewed for a month ago.

It really got to him. At the interview they practically told him he had the job, and he was so ticked that they led him on like that. He went outside and chopped up some old wood to let out some steam when he got home. Then he didn't want to talk for a while. I comforted him a while, but I really wasn't so sure what I could say that would make him feel better. It was a crappy thing those people did. Luckily, he was feeling better after dinner though. He's sound asleep now, and I'm pretty tired myself.

Well, I had a pretty crappy day



DS has not felt good in a few days and lets just say it had to have all come out today


By about 4, he was feeling himself and running around like a madman. But I did not want to take a chance and take him to a bouncing party, so we stayed home

Hubby left for work about 6, and ds said he wanted to go outside and play.

So, we took him out, My mom and I for almost 2 hrs and he had a blast getting dirty, like any boy should


He came back in washed up and laid down on chair, as he said he wanted to watch a movie

I put a movie on and he was out in 5 mins

Sorry that you guys didn't get to go to the party but sounds like y'all had fun anyways. Glad that you were able to get Trent to fall asleep early. Maybe this will help him for when school starts.
