Hey I'm starting "a little" to be conscious of losing weight, even while still visiting Sharky. I am not eating big meals and though they may not be the best choices yet but at least I'm starting to become conscious of the portions! Thank you for that tip!!!

That was the best thing I learned. That and the fact that I had to move too. I have started doing the gym twice a day. And today I did the eliptical for the first time. I have to remember that it is my friend, but I still approach it with caution.

In case you were wondering where I was this weekend....well it was just one of those weekends....I was really depressed, and moping. I'm getting sick of sitting around on weekends all alone while Mike works 12 hours a day, and this economy doesn't help. It's not like I can go out shopping or anything.
So I'm sorry I wasn't around.

Today is not much better. CRAZY day at work! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I hope maybe things will get calmer but I don't forsee that happening! I didn't even get a lunch today! Good thing I never got hungry!

Cheri, I totally understand the bumming. I think we all have that at one time or another. I'm sorry you have been feeling that way lately though

Carla, I am sorry about your movie theater incident. I had no idea! I’m glad they at least gave you a refund, but I know you’ve been waiting so long to see that movie, and then to miss the last 20 minutes! I think the theater should have given everyone a refund, AND an extra ticket voucher to come back and see the movie.

Hey style ladies I have a make up question. I was looking at the mineral types of make up and at foundation trying to decide which I want. The problem I have is in the colors. They seem more beige and grayish than my skintone. My skin tends to be pinker what is a girl to do?

did you try to take some of the concealer and rup it on the back of your hand to match your skin color? That usually works for me

That reminds me of one day when I was VERY YOUNG. I'll bet I was under 10 years old. My grandpa came over, and he was telling my mom a story. There was some jerkoff who did something rude and I exclaimed "That B*stard!"

They both looked at me (he, especially, being a religious man) in shock. I didn't realize it was a curse word. I had heard it and though it was just a new word people used to describe jerks. Then my mom had to tell me what it meant.

now that's funny. Kind of like when I said the "F" word after I saw Planes Trains and Automibles. My Mom yelled at me and told me it was a bad word and I started crying immediately.

OK, so I'm in the car with Sharky heading to a DIS meet with Penny and her girls and I look over and I see Sharky rise from the carseat and I'm wondering why is she only rising on one side and then I hear it, a little toot toot tooot noise and I think oh no, here it comes and sure enough there's this rather noxious odor coming from underneath her left butt cheek, pppppuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, stanky!!!!! Had to open the windows for some air as it was very noxious. OK so I get through all that and we get get home and here I am on the couch and she's on the chair at the table just across from me and I hear this loud "toooooooooooooooooooooooot!!!! Then I suddenly get a whiff of what they call the *$)#*@(# Pig Farms. Sharky lives in an area that has farm lands out a ways and in the heat of the summer if the wind is blowing the right way, you can really smell them, yuck, well here I thought the wind was blowing this way and I was totally wrong, it was Sharky who was emitting the noxious odor of the pig farms! I have to stop and think about what she ate because sh'e not eating it again if I can help it, at least not while I am here!

Hey one time my DS said the C word, now that was something else. I almost got whiplash as we were in the caqr an dhe was in the back seat and I whipped my head around and said 'WHAT DID YOU SAY?" and he innocently repeated it, he had no clue what he was saying. I simply explained that was a very bad word and he should never say that again and he never did, that I know of, probably does now that he's in his 30's but he never said it in front of me again!!!

We all had a really nice time. We stayed for a few hours and the kids played and played and played in spite of the fact taht it was so hot and humid. Their little cheeks were all flushed and their hair was sticking to their heads from sweat but they still didn't want to leave. We had to finally drag them out of there about 9:30 or 9:45! Now I'm hoping the heat and running around outside will be enough to put Huey to sleep early tonight, I need some sleep, LOL.

Well, I'm at work so it's keeping me busy. I still felt sorta depressed this morning. This day went by pretty quick though b/c I was SO BUSY!

I somehow found some time in between the craziness to work on my finances and make sure we can afford this vacation which I have to pay for soon! Our electric bill was $100 more than normal because of a fuel adjustment! Not to mention, gas just KEEPS going up up up!



Well, thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, Mondays he works 12 hours and absolutely CANNOT leave. He works all the way through and just eats when he can.
AND wouldn't you know it, I had no lunch break today because I was too busy. We had problems with the stinkin' bank

And I'm also trying to pinch really tightly now so I'm saving gas by not going out at lunchtime if I can help it.
