me too.. i love my little Poo Poo.... shes gunna think we left her forever tho.. I took off her collar at home because i thought thats what was irritating her and it didnt get back on before the appt and the vet had us take her harness and leash when we left!

I hope your doggie is okay Steph. She looks just like my little lexie.

OK, so while I'm busy getting all HRRUMPH at DH, he comes in and sadly apologizes for not having the camera ready. Then says the reason he didn't is because he looked at our drive with all the photos and it said it was CORRUPTED!!! He couldn't access it at all!!!

So he was working on getting the drive back up so we don't lose all of our photos we ever took in our life!!!

He didn't want to tell me what he was doing until he got it all back up.

So, I publicly take back all my anger and I posted earlier! DH is a sweetie and I told him so!

aww what a good hubby. Hope he was able to save all of y'alls pictures. Digital is great but there's always they chance they could disappear.

OK I did a google map and found out that from where I am working to Universal it is only about 10 minutes from here. We'll figure out where we want to meet in City Walk and then we can have dinner and athen hang out for a bit, then you can go do your thing with your friends and I'll head home since I have to go to work the next day, boooo hisssssssssss! You have my new cell number and I have yours so we'll be sure to hook up.

Okay good! Glad it's not very far away and you will be able to meet us at City Walk. I can't wait!! Yes, I do have your new cell number and we will be in touch for sure. I can't wait to meet you in person finally!! You can hang around with us at City Walk for as long as you like.

We postponed our trip due to the storm, DH will go by himself in two weeks as he has to go to the Louisiana job site anyway so he'll get the camper and head back. Bad part is that I can't go pick up some fall clothes to bring back and he won't know what to bring me and I can't think right now where my stuff is, which bedroom and what I want so I can't explain it to him But I have to work that week and can't go with him.

So no need to worry about me, so we'll keep our prayers for OB and Cheri!

OH I'm so glad to hear you postponed your trip to LA!! I know you said you were planning on driving around Gustav but it was still making me nervous that you were going towards where Gustav was going while everyone else is talking about evacuating. Thank you for waiting I don't have to worry about you now. I'm sorry you won't be able to go back with your DH when he does go to get the camper though so you can get your fall clothes. That's always an excuse to get some new clothes though when it does get cool down there

Yes I guess there is a reason for everything. Like those 9-1-1 stories that say they were late that day because they had a blister and stopped at a drug store to get band aids or their child was sick and they couldn't go to work, etc. That spared their lives so maybe this is to spare mine as maybe something would have happened. I need to remember to look at it that way. I guess I'll just have to buy clothes,

I download my digital pictures to my computer, then put them on a jump drive, then I burn a CD so I have several places I can access them should one of them get corrupt. Eventually I print some out and put them in albums too as we like to look at them. I just ordered 30 prints from York Photos through Sunshine so hope I get my credit. They were only 8cents a photo, you can't beat that at home even with the printer and paper I have.

I got a link thru a Sunshine email and I went and ordered 10 prints as you had to order something but the first 50 were free!!! So I paid like hardly nothing and got 60 prints and the quality was excellent! You can also for $2.99 order a CD of all the pictures you order so that is good as well. I did the whole thing for under $10.

I would never forget about you Carla, it would be the day I would forget, never ever you!!!! Tell me the date again now and I'll put it in my calendar on outlook and it will pop up so that will be another reminder. Old folks need reminding,

on a sad note.. no Gwenie Poo Poo tonight.. the vet has to keep her over night because he has to sedate her and clean her ear.. he didnt see a foxtail but he said its very puffy and irritated.. we get to pick her up around 9 tomorrow morning...

I'm sure that Gwenie will be fine, its hard to leave them at the vet but for their own good. By now you've got her home with you so that is good!!!

Awww he was working hard to save your pictures and didn't tell you cause he didn't want to upset you or make you sad. That is so sweet!!! Glad he got it all straightened out and you didn't lose your pictures, now go burn them on all CDs so you have a back up!!!

Girls start out as angels and then turn into she-devils, right before puberty and stay that way until they have their own kids!!

Hmm, let me see. I had one of each so I can truthfully say that (well in my case) mine both started out good, no little devils or she devils in my house. They were good kids and never really gave me any trouble and Sharky hit puberty and the only thing was the boy crazy part, lol, that will give you a few gray hairs, but she was sensible and I never had a problem.

LOL that's why I couldn't figure out why you were talking about being at work. I hope your DH doesn't decide to go out of town that weekend. That night and Friday are really the only days we plan on being at city walk or DTD but I'm sure we'll end up there again at some point. I just don't have it planned since we plan on being at the parks every day until they close. I'll have to look at the times of the park closings again and see when else we could go if the 13th doesn't work out. Guess I really need to get a PTR up huh? Don't let those brain farts happen again. They sure are stinky
