Also grabbed the last one of the DVC holiday spirit jerseys (at the time) at Acorn Gifts a couple weeks ago (we’re local). The CMs weren’t sure if they would get a restock, and they didn’t have any at the DLH Fantasia Shop.

That said it is an extra small that I’ll be returning Saturday/Sunday. It fit fine other than I have freakishly long arms so the sleeves are too short for me, plus the material is honestly crunchy/scratchy. All that to say if you are looking for an xs soon, let me know and I can coordinate the return!

Hmmm, so maybe the same lamp but a new lamp shade? I can't imagine they keep the 2 chains post-refurb, they're not great for usability.

The Thumper art on the lamp shade also does look familiar to me. I remember some Thumper art somewhere in the room in September, but I don't remember where exactly.

Alright, LLPP….. it is absolutely incredible at Disneyland/DCA.

When combined with a Magic Band, you can literally just walk up to any LL ride (except Haunted Mansion while it’s on VQ) at any time once during the day and get into the Lightning Lane. The only reason to pull out your phone is to check and see if a certain ride is down.

If you have pre-purchased LLMP then you can also reserve a time to go on the rides a second time… which is what we did. We booked some of the heavy hitters and either used LLMP first if it was a close return time OR booked it and modified so that we could ride again much late in the night…. so multiple Space Mountains and Indiana Jones.

It was 100% the least stressful trip to the parks we ever had as a family.

I left room with nothing but bathing suit, tshirt, and magic band. Walk on to Grizzly River Run… 5 minute single rider wait for Incredicoaster…. Walk on for Silly Symphony Swings…. secret entrance back to DVCvilla….

But it really could be for anyone staying at the Grand Cal…. however some of the hotel rooms are down looooong hall ways.

The VGC side is so manageable and the elevators are so quick.

Also, I’m not sure you want to be pointing that stuff out while trying to sell VDH…..

I went with Crocs and they worked fantastic….. especially since I got hit with a massive wall of water….

We did that for our October trip. Put on our swim clothes, get on GRR and get soaked, go back to the room to change into our costumes for OBB and go right back into DCA, all done in less than 30 minutes.

Park side view GV booked for the 70th. May do some community meetup and fiesta too with the family and DVC community. Still in very initial planning phase. If you are staying on site in July for the 70th (7/17/25) you may be able to come see the GV if you wish
