I don't think any VGC studios are right next to each other and the odds of both rooms being open for the same exact days would be slim. Unless you're just looking at 1 night maybe.
It looks like there are a lot across the hall from each other. Nothing my wife would less us do anytime soon.I don't think any VGC studios are right next to each other and the odds of both rooms being open for the same exact days would be slim. Unless you're just looking at 1 night maybe.
I too was thinking across the hall on the same floor seems plausible. It looks like there are a lot across the hall from each other. Nothing my wife would less us do anytime soon.
What if you set up two iPhones as a nanny cam?It looks like there are a lot across the hall from each other. Nothing my wife would less us do anytime soon.

Are there any lockoffs? You could just shut the door to the studio while you stay in the 1bdrm.?I too was thinking across the hall on the same floor seems plausible.
Portable RING stand up cam with battery….What if you set up two iPhones as a nanny cam?![]()
Then you might as well pony up for a two bedroom. Are there any lockoffs? You could just shut the door to the studio while you stay in the 1bdrm.?
Technically it is a 2bdrm.Then you might as well pony up for a two bedroom.
2BDs have plenty of freedom. Just thinking through when they are older and how we could stretch the points.Technically it is a 2bdrm.
But I was thinking you were trying to give the kids some freedom, not save money.
Not sure how old they are but even just across the hall could seem pretty distant.
Yep, I get it.2BDs have plenty of freedom. Just thinking through when they are older and how we could stretch the points.
Random day in August points:
Studio: 26
1bd: 52
2BD: 70
The 2 bedroom is “better” because it has two dedicated queen beds and a king bed, the full kitchen, full living room, etc….Yep, I get it.
2 studios are a lot less points than a 2-bdrm… it’s almost another studio!!
Most want to be in SoCal in August…. no one wants to be in Orlando in August…..We're at the Grand in January, I'm not an owner but was fortunate to book a 1BR in this lower season. My 3 kids would vastly prefer each having their own bed, but I couldn't get a 2BR (and was a little hesitant due to point cost anyway).
I'm thinking about WDW in Aug and it's nice to see that there are a lot of 2BRs at a far lower cost than a 2BR at VGC in the same timeframe1
Oh I get it. Super hot and humid. But Orlando/FL offer way better cruise options than the west coast! Most want to be in SoCal in August…. no one wants to be in Orlando in August…..
We are not cruising people, but if you are then there are certainly more off of Florida.Oh I get it. Super hot and humid. But Orlando/FL offer way better cruise options than the west coast!
Also: comparing spring break (for us) - still a lot of great options at WDW that come in at far less points than the Grand. I'm not complaining about high point cost at the Grand, just observing that points can go a lot further at WDW.
Maybe she will come around to VDH by then. (doubtful ahaha) We stayed at VDH and we requested and got a Duo Studio preferred view and a standard view Deluxe Studio and we were right across the hall from each other.2BDs have plenty of freedom. Sounds like 2BR is in your future. It looks like there are a lot across the hall from each other. Nothing my wife would less us do anytime soon.
We have only done villas so far. 2BD is already on the books for August.Sounds like 2BR is in your future.
Should be renovated by then…i am so enthused…especially after seeing the early pics of the BLT reno.We have only done villas so far. 2BD is already on the books for August.
I am apprehensively hopeful. We love the current setup so much…. I would absolutely buy some of the artwork and lamps if it ends up in a liquidation store.Should be renovated by then…i am so enthused…especially after seeing the early pics of the BLT reno.
