The VERY BEST/CAN'T MISS counter service places

Already mentioned:
CHH at MK
Flame Tree BBQ at AK
Tangerine Cafe in Epcot

We also like:
Raglan Road (my kids love the batter dipped sausages)
Hurricane Hannahs (I like the chicken with yogurt sauce, kids love burgers)
Yakitori House (I think--the takeout in Japan--nice setting and menu)
Bakery in Norway, especially the viking coffee ;)

Earl of Sandwich is a MUST DO for our family each trip.

We also enjoy Cantina de San Angel, Flame Tree BBQ and Pecos Bills - our new fave at the MK - Columbia Harbor House!

I love CHH for the Tuna snadwhich and DH like the Hummus sandwhich.

The CCH Tuna Sandwhich, Yum!, I get so tired of Burgers etc.
Cosmic Rays for the variety
Tangerine Cafe, the Shwarma Platter!
Pecos Bill
and believe or not I've never eaten at Casey's (I can't event picture where it is) but now that I've figured out that those things are little Corn Dog Nuggets, this June I will find it.

I know, my kids will love Casey's! Also, everyone seems to love CCH, so we will for sure give it a try! Thanks to everyone who is posting. I am starving now :) Keep it comin'!!!!!

CHH for sure. It's also hard for me to go down and not eat at either Pizzafari or Toy Story. It's the only pizza I've been able to eat with out my meds first, and it's so good.

We (myself and my parents, my daughter was too busy wathing the birds to eat) really enjoyed Flame Tree BBQ. And we live right down the road from one of the top rated BBQ restaurants in the U.S. I know I don't plan on missing it on any future trips.

My vote is for Wolfgang Puck Express. I thought it was a pain to get to because it's at Downtown Disney (and you can only get there by bus to and from a restort), but it was so worth it. They have an extensive menu. You are fed on dishes with sliverware and glasses (not paper plates and plastic tableware). You can sit inside or out. It felt like a TS meal and the food is good. We went twice and had pizzas, chicken tenders and fries, mac and cheese, chinois chicken salad, pesto chicken focaccia. All were excellent!

We also liked Earl of Sandwich--cheap and good.

In the parks our two faves were Restaurantsaurus in AK. It's burgers and salads, but everything we had was good. We also liked Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. Lots of variety and good food.

You must be talking about Gates (sp?)! My husband loves their sauce. Everytime we visit family we stop there. (Family in Peoria)

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House (if it's open sit upstairs by a window where you can look out and see the Haunted Mansion)
Epcot: Electric Umbrella (it's normally emptier upstairs so try up there for a seat)
Liberty Inn-America (this food court has a lot of seating and is normally pretty empty so that's a nice thing)
Studios: The Backlot Express

We are never in the Animal Kingdom long enough to eat lunch there so I don't have any counter service favorites there...I hope this helps! Have a great trip!:donald:

MK: Cosmic Ray's
EP: The Land - Sunshine Seasons
HS: Sunset Market

I'm working with BEST Selection - B'c me, DH and 3 teens.....to please...all picky

MK - Cosmic Rays
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
HS - We have never had CS - always eat at Sci Fi

We had the chicken wraps at Peco Bills and we really liked them.

Cosmic Ray's was good.

MK: Casey's
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
DH: ABC Commissary (if you have to eat at DH)
Animal Kingdom: Flametree

I don't think I have anything new to add but I just wanted to highlight our favorites:

Wolfgang Puck Express - LOVE the pizza
Columbia Harbor House
Toy Story Pizza/Pizzafari/Pinnochio's - love Disney's pizza, too
Peco's Bills - Though this is just burger and fries we do enjoy the fixin's bar
Yakitori House in Japan!
Sunshine Seasons
