Background:
I am a 26 year old wife with no kids, unless you count my hubby and our cat, Mr. Kitty. I am a banker, and my husband is a manager.
We both could stand to lose some weight, of course. I am determined to be successful, but I have been determined in the past. I'm hoping I'll be a little more consistent if I post on here.
History:
In high school, I fluctuated between 127 and 132. Of course, I thought I was a 5'5" cow. Well, they say hindsight is 20/20, and I know better now.
When I got married at WDW 2.5 years ago, I was around 135, and I was pretty happy with myself. I knew I needed to tone up and exercise some more, but I always figured I would get around to it.
Problem:
Today, I weighed in at 165 pounds.
I will not be heavier! Frankly, I know what I need to do...I just need to do it.
Goal:
My anniversary, and probably the day we leave for our next WDW trip, is May 12. Between now and then, I hope to lose 30 pounds. Is it possible?
Of course.
Is it likely?
Probably not, but I will be happy with any progress!
Plan:
My plan is kind of random. I'm planning on keeping my fat gram count around 30. I hope to keep carbs and calories down as well, by avoiding too much fat free food. I realize eating an entire bag of licorice is bad for me even though it isn't really high in fat. Also, I'm not eating after 8pm.
Exercise is very important, and I realize that. I'm going to try to jog three days a week. Two days a week, I hope to do sit ups, squats, lunges, and use my free weights. Of course, since I plan to jog, the weather is bitter cold up here.....
Also, I just realized that I have really sensitive (and dry) skin, so my other silly goal is to moisturize daily!
Today:
My fat count hit at 34, which was a little higher than I had hoped, but I have to start somewhere.
I spent about 20 minutes walking briskly, which was a bad idea....it was really, really, cold out!
Of course, I welcome any feedback, suggestions, and criticism.
I know this was long winded and kind of loopy, but I needed to get it all out there. Heck, I have tons more to say, but I figure I should quit while I'm ahead. Besides, I'll be back tomorrow.

Also, if anyone sees Whitegloves around, she needs encouragement too! She's trying to live healthier, but she hasn't wandered over here yet...I'll keep working on her though! (She's my mom!)
Remember...LEEROY JENKINS!
