Tonight's episode was one of the best. I love how I can laugh, cry, hid under the covers, and be grossed out all in one hour,

My heart broke when Stefan and Elena broke up. I felt like I had just been broken up with. Paul Wesley owned that scene.

I was shocked that they killed Mason off so fast but it does make sense for where the storyline needs to go. I was grossed out though when Damon was putting that plant in his mouth.

Bad boy Damon is back baby. Loved him with Mason and the phone call to Katherine.

Next week looks amazing and I can not wait.

Damon ripped his heart right out of his chest- I'm pretty sure he's not coming back...

Loved the episode tonight- did not see Jenna's stabbing coming at all! Catherine better not hurt poor Matt. Glad Bonnie came around a little and made the move to accept Caroline. And Elena and Stefan's breakup was painful to watch- hate to see Stefan cry!

The reason I think that this may not be the end of Mason is I saw the actor who plays him on an entertainment show (can't remember which one) and he kind of alluded that he would be around for awhile. I could be wrong, but this is a show about vampires, werewolves, and witches, so maybe pulling a heart out doesn't mean the end of a werewolf ! Then maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, I liked his character and he's pretty easy on the eyes!

I loved that Damon put a tarp on the floor so the carpet wouldn't get stained with blood.

He's obviously done things like this before.

Oh and I guess we can say goodbye to Matt? People drop like flies in this show.

Bonnie better start getting some better lines or she may be next.

The reason I think that this may not be the end of Mason is I saw the actor who plays him on an entertainment show (can't remember which one) and he kind of alluded that he would be around for awhile. I could be wrong, but this is a show about vampires, werewolves, and witches, so maybe pulling a heart out doesn't mean the end of a werewolf ! I hope you are right on this! I was bummed that they took him out so quickly!

Y&R fans will be happy to know that a Genoa City resident will be visiting Mystic Falls in a few episodes this season. Emmy Winner Bryton Hamilton (Devon) will be on the show this season!

I also read the interview with the actor who plays Mason and it sounded to me like he would stick around for a while longer too. Since Katherine likes to make her pets drink her blood, maybe Mason had some recent Katherine blood in him when Damon killed him. No one who has come back has ever had their heart separated from their body, so I'm not sure if it would be possible for Mason's heart to tiptoe over to his body and jump back into his chest, but I'm still not convinced that he's really dead.

Katherine told Matt: "I need a warewolf, and I lost the one I had" that line alone tells me that Mason is dead and he's not coming back. Its sad, I really loved this character!

I know what happens to Tyler if he kills Matt- it was a rhetorical question answering the "Mason's not really dead" question. If Mason is coming back, Catherine should have no reason to make Tyler become a werewolf. But, she is going to force him into it- why? Because Mason is, IMO, most sincerely dead.

I read your first post too fast. You're right. If Mason is coming back, there is no reason to kill Matt. However, one way or another, Tyler will become a full werewolf, IMHO.

I too think Mason is truly dead. Werewolf or not there is no coming back from having your heart yanked out of your chest. Although if someone were to yank my heart out I would want it to be Damon,

I think it will be interesting so see what exaclty Katherine is up to. With her hooking up with Mason I now know for sure that she is not just back for Stefan.

This was me for 10 minutes after tonight's episode ended. Loved every single minute of it. I can't wait to see what next week brings.

Why didn't they just kill her? I mean I know there needs to be drama and I read about future episodes with her. But Stefan and Damon make some dumb decisions!
