The US $$

Can someone just confirm if the following is correct re the $ Citibank account.

There isn't any loading fee.
There isn't any transaction fee.
There isn't any atm fee if using their preferred ATM's

The rate you purchase at is the interbank rate applicable on the day the money lands in your account but could take approx 2 days to get there - although faster payments may be introduced by June 2011.

I am thinking if all the above are correct then this may be a better option than the fairfx card as they charge $2 for an ATM withdrawal.

Yep 100% correct, I opened my US $ Account a few weeks ago,
I transfered £100 into that account from my UK Account and got the rate of 1.624 with no fees :)

Also as you state there are going to speed the system up as it now take 2/3 days for the funds to hit there accounts... Plus with the $ on the rise I have a friend who works in finance his company are looking at the $ hitting a rate of $1.80 by the mid summer months... :cool1:
