Yes there is one image in the product guide that shows an opening across the back of the waist of the shorts.
When the photographers in Avengers Campus always ask who my favorite superhero is, I answer truthfully. Also feels a little wrong... since it is not disney... like wearing a non disney animation costume feels like I am cheatin on disney. Lol.
Strictly on looks, I think the Eccos work betterSo I've signed up for a fun local 5K.

The course is the airport runway. Should be super fun AND it was free! It's in a few weeks and in the morning, so temps should be well in the 40s or 50s for the race. I decided to have some fun with it and dress as Amelia Earhart! She actually visited the Burlington, VT airport in 1934. I found a great jacket at the thrift store, had these Old Navy leggings (that will 100% fall down the whole race) and found the hat/goggles/scarf on Etsy.
For the boots, I have dark brown scrunch socks that I can pull up to my knees to give the impression of boots, but I can also wear these old, worn-in Ecco boots. I'd obviously test them out first, but just going by costume LOOK, which of these do you prefer? I can't decide if it makes that much difference or not. And I'll be taking it pretty easy either way.

Adorable!Decisions have been [mostly] made for our 5k costumes with DD.
DH was completely on-board with doing a starwars theme, and after showing him a few pictures, we have decided on:
DH--R2D2. Planning on a shirt from etsy, he already has white shorts, debating on getting the ear hat off ebay or similar)
Me--c3PO. I found an ink n burn shirt on poshmark in my size. Now to decide on leggings, sparkle skirt, or dottie to go with it, and if I get the ear hat off ebay or similar.
DD-- Vader or BB8. DH and I already have a whole vader costume mentally planned for her, complete with a red light-up bow, a kid-sized light saber, and possibly red shoe lights. But I'm not sure how she'll feel about being an obvious villian, so BB8 is the backup idea. We will be getting a Taylor Joelle dress for this. If we go with vader we may do an ear headband OR borrow her cousin's mickey-vader helmet from 2016ish(?) if SIL can find it. We already own a BB8 earhat, but it's pretty big on her.
oh my gosh. put DD in a big-kid sized vader face mask.....I'm seeing Dot Matrix from Spaceballs in my head.

OR this helmet that she may be borrowing and either way you'd have Dark Helmet.
